Not sure if it's applicable for all national orders, but there is no option available to collect in store in my region, only home delivery. Which means there's an extra £3.95 delivery charge.

6 spots on the one ceiling plate. Whatever you save initially would be wiped out when the leccy bill lands on your mat.

I've got 2 of these in my kitchen, bit the bullet & paid £60 for led bulbs from Amazon. I'm now paying less for 12 led lights than I was paying for two 200w bulbs. And I paid full price for my fittings, which I still think were worth the money.

If anyone is interested in which led bulbs I installed, it's this set from Amazon.

had to order two single bulbs as well, seems to be about the same price as I paid in April.

200w bulbs ? Did you have a spotlight or a floodlight in your kitchen ? Maybe just use 20w bulbs rather than 200w.

No, they were 200w, I had two. Here's the Amazon link- http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B009FW3XSA/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I don't have very good eyesight, these were the brightest bulbs I could find. Couldn't fit a shade, it was too high a wattage that's why I ended up buying the light fitting linked in this thread.

If you have poor eyesight I would suggest a decent pair of glasses rather than illuminating your house with bulbs that I am sure give you a lovely tan whilst cooking your tea but use ridiculous amounts of energy and now you've opted for a 6 spot ceiling plate with LED bulbs which save energy but now you are getting screwed at point of sale as you are paying £60 for bulbs. Rock and a hard place springs to mind !

I wish it were as simple as getting "a decent pair of glasses", I need a retina replacement operation so very bright lights are the only option.

it has gone up in price. :-(
