Not in England. Scottish stores are open though, if you're from that way,

Heated Clothes Airer is that a politically correct term for a radiator? Is is bad to say radiator now? Damn nanny state Tory government.

O.O.S. near Southampton...

I noticed that they had a bigger one too but was alrmed that on the questions part Dunelm state it is more expensive to run than a tumble drier !!!!

A free standing heater you can move to any room of your home

Designed in a soft curvaceous shape to maximise hanging space, the sturdy foot base allows you to stand this heated clothes airer in any room of your home. Perfectly sculpted to hang your towels, clothes and underwear, our steel airing stand can be placed anywhere around the house so you can dry and heat your clothes during the cold and wetter days.

Dry your laundry on our heated airer this winter

Our free standing heater is designed with a small switch at the bottom of the bar so you can control when the heater turns on and off. Fixed with one heat setting with a maximum heat output of 100watts, our electrical stand will instantly heat up so you can start drying your laundry straight away. Our clothes rail comes with full instructions so installing our towel stand couldn’t be easier.

this one is 100 watts so should use the same elec as a big light bulb? yes? on economy 7 over night this would be negligible and excellent for all my swimming/gym towels etc. ta op!

Power output 100 watts. That cant be right surely?

This wouldn't cost that much to run, if I left it on for 10 hours over night it would cost me 5.69p + vat @ 5%. Similar to an existing 100w towel rail I already have in the bathroom...:). A 3kw tumble dryer would cost me 17.07 + vat @ 5% to run for an hour over night.

What is the wattage of the larger one, couldn't see it on the website?

Plenty hot enough for a towel rail, similar to a radiator to touch, just not as big of course so wouldn't kick out as much heat, fine for clothes though

Found it http://www.dunelm-mill.com/shop/winged-heated-clothes-airer-382102

Very misleading, it all depends how long you use it for and the wattage. Tumble dryers aren't overly expensive to run, it depends on your needs I guess, if you need something dried quickly then you pay the extra and turn on the dryer (_;)

Mmmm, got solar panels, so just mulling this one over before taking the plunge. Thanks for your input hukd ERS

Ahh OOS near me and no home delivery, sounds a great + handy product!

reserved and ordered from me, heat added. We live in a apartment so this is ideal

your calcations are wrong. a tumbler doesnt cost 17.00 an hour to run

i think it said 120w

At least electricity is cheaper than gas! Can this heat the house? If so I might replace all my radiators

I was gonna say! Surely it's doesn't even cost more than £1

Ive now gone for the bigger version as its more useful in a apartment, and its collapsible.

17p not £17.

You'll only hit £17 an hour if your neighbours are tapping your electricity for their Cannabis plantation

17.00 pence an hour is about right, depending on the output of the dryer

Bought the bigger one today 120 watts. Actually a very good clothes airier for the price even if it was not heated.
Heat added if you'll pardon the pun.

Same here, bigger than i thought and they are selling a non heated version for similar price, so this is a bargain!
