Brilliant! Been craving a big butcher's block for ages.

If I was a heavy duty bamboo butcher I'd buy one! Unfortunately I am only light duty.

Heat added reserved to collect thanks bye

Thought Butchers used oak not Bamboo....

Thought this was another SSD.

Have had this for about 6 months and its great.

The larger size is more usefull, medium a bit to small, should still get well caned at this price.

Bamboo choppinn boards get mouldy wihin a month or so. waste of money from experience.

I've bought one of these last year and it's great! Oil it when needed and it should last for years!

You are obviously doing something wrong with yours mate. I've had mine over 6 months and it looks as good as new despite being the main board we use for chopping veggies / bread etc. We just use a cheapie plastic one for meat / fish so as not to get odour on the bamboo, and we look after it - i.e. damp wipe if not dirty, very quick dip and scrub with the washing up and then drip-dry on the drainer otherwise.

Agree. Not much maintenance required. Mine is 20 years old that my beloved Grandma gave me and with little work, it still looks great.
