This radio is rubbish, mine broke after a day
    Plus its a rip off
Shame they didn't go the extra yard and make it rechargeable. Voted hot.

If it breaks you have the 3 year warranty to fall back on, if it breaks after a day you get your money back (up to 3 months)
3 watts, more volume in a fart I would guess...
I prefer normal battery compartment so i can put in rechargables or disposables
Takes a mains adapter also, so no built in transformer - another item to get lost or broke in the back of the van! Given that it's £50 I might have expected a mains powered device.
I'm sure my OH would get laughed off site if he had one of these. Looks like a rip off of the Makita one which is great and worth the extra money as it takes the same batteries as tools. Aldi calling it a site radio is equivalent to any piece of equipment that has professional in the title. Still a good deal though if you want a DAB for around the house and garden that is a bit more robust.
Does look a bit Fisher Price...
I got one yesterday for £17.45 and antennas broken.just turns round and round in it's socket can't get it out.
I am glad I only paid seventeen quid for it.
Mine broke after a day too and antenna not dropped or owt put new battery's in this is a shocking radio
