Heavy duty oven line reduced from £1.99 to £1.39. These are a bargain for their full price anyway, but even better for £1.39!

They are heatproof coated fabric, which you place on the bottom of the oven. Then when you need to clean the oven, you can pull the liner out and wash it in the sink and put it back. It is reusable. Saves all that oven scrubbing on your hands and knees I really hate cleaning the oven...

It's great because it's flexible when you bend it all the baked on stuff pops off instead of having to scrap it off the bottom of the oven and potentially scratch the paint. Then a quick wash in soap water and it's done

They sell Magic Oven liners in Lakeland for £9.99! They are basically the same thing:

Again unsure if this is local or national, as I have only checked my local store.

That's a great price if so. I can't find them on tesco.com though and I can only from one for £10 something on Tesco Direct

if using foil don't get the non stick baco foil as on the bottom of the oven it did exactly the opposite to what it said on the tin. There seems to be a plastic coating on it which melted, stuck and stank as it burned !

My oven is self cleaning

I have found Aldi reductions are store specific as I have 3 near me and they never have the same things reduced in all 3, it all depends on what stock they have/ havent sold

My oven is self cleaning

Do you actually know what "self cleaning" is?

Basically A self-cleaning oven is an oven which uses high temperature approximately 500 degrees Celsius (900 degrees Fahrenheit) to burn off leftovers from baking, without the use of any chemical agents.

So you still need to clean the "leftovers" from the bottom of the oven ;-)

How do you use them on the BBQ?

I would have thought foil would be better on a BBQ?

My BF bought a new oven last year and he thought that because it was "self cleaning" he didn't have to bother cleaning it anymore ....until I explained to him lol lol

thanks for posting this, will put some in base of grill pan

I just throwaway the oven and buy another one.

But they are reduced to a small amount of fine powder which simply wipes away. Doesn't half use a lot of electricity to get it to that state though...

I wasn't being serious. It's not self cleaning. But great knowledge of self cleaning ovens. Do you sell ovens?

LOL, No I don't sell ovens but have done some research on ovens in the past.

At least my response to your comment has come in useful for some people ;-)
