See #2 (me) for correct link, £9.92 is a fifth of weight load compared to OP's quoted item.

Thank you PF time for some more, great price, heat added

screwfix ones are deeper, wider and taller as well as holding 5× weight and extra shelf
not surprised they removed post.

Much prefer screwfix offering.

Maximum shelf load 200kg. Maximum bay load 1000kg

LMAO at anyone who attempts to load a metric ton onto this!

Ordered some for the garage, thanks. Noticed that the screwfix linbin type storage bins are also a very good price at around a £1 each. Ordered some to go on the shelves , will be interesting to see what the quality is like.

200kg per shelf! Eventually I've found something I can sleep on!!!

200kg per shelf?

Chipboard shelf?

May be best to distribute the weight on the shelf frame rather than the chipboard middle!

Heat added

Nice find

+1 Saw the Homebase ones the other week. They appear to be made from Bacofoil

Lol I did realise after I posted that it was 200kg per shelf not overall.

Thanks op, just bought 2 sets after seeing your post. Really good units

thanks bought 3 for garage to organise before little one arrives

Good price, 3 ordered too!

This is a OK value for money.
I just bought and built 3 units.
This will never take 1000kg, not in widest dreams.
I put 20kg on each shelf. Under a total load of 100kg, when pushed by hand gently, the unit wobbles and legs are bowing.
Beware!
You can always sue screwfix if you kill yourself...

screwix is made of about 0.7mm metal, very easy to bend and twist by hand, not steel I presume...

Good price

Does this come with fittings to anchor to wall? I.e. to stop kids pulling it over and killing themselves?!

Especially with 1T of stuff on the shelves.

Buy some timber and fixings from Wickes and build substantial custom racking for little more than this.

I sent it back because it's useless. I'm going to buy some timber and build some custom shelving that will be much better. It won't cost much more than this junk.

Please tell me how your budget worked out.
I was going to build of timber but my calculations were in a region of £100 per unit + 4 hours labour.

hardly enough for the frame thay would be u will need something else like plyboard aswell so say another 20 quid if u want too take more than 3 shelfs. then another 20 quid. or If u have loads of time the u could do it for alot less but more hassle and headache. go around places look for good quality pallets and some places let u have them for free not sure if u would get the good hard ones the blue ones u can't have they are owned by some company.

6 on order thanks OP
