Agreed. The Greatest Hits cases look so good and don't look anywhere near as cheap as the UK yellow Platinum editions. I was hoping they'd use the Greatest Hits covers when they changed the covers to have the slim PS3 logo on them or at least the silver covers from PS1/2 games

I won't be buying this as I got it the week it came out, platinumed it a few months later and sold it but voted hot as it is a good deal

Even though this states it's the Move Edition does anyone know if it can still be played just using a standard controller? Thanks.

I actually like the platinum look - far better than the 'phase 1' platinum. The current look is quite stylish.

Move edition or regular?

There is a free patch for move support, simply logon to PSN when you load the game and...

waitaminit.

You don't need to login to receive the patch, simply have an internet connection.

PSN still needs to be functional though, I think? I believe the firmware patches are delivered outside of PSN but that's it.

I recently got MGS4, connected to the internet but there were no patches automatically downloaded - surely it's had one or two since it was published?

[edit] NM, I tried deleting the title data for LittleBigPlanet which I know has updated and sure enough, it re-downloaded it.

Surprised MGS4 has never needed a patch for anything!

Thanks for clearing that up BlueDan and yes it is surprising MGS4 hasn't had any patches although there was talk of a trophy patch but that obviously didn't materialise.
Hopefully PSN will be back in the next few days.

Anyhoo Heavy Rain is a cracking game.

Yes you can play with standard controller.

i got red dead redemption few days ago and it updated itself without loggin into psn, so u just need an internet connection. playing heavy rain with move is so much better, gets you more involved in the game as you gutta replicate action (e.g twisting the move to open door)

No he's right. I started playing Lego Harry Potter when PSN was down and the game's update came up the first time I put the disc in the PS3. You just need an internet connection
