Currently the cheapest online price for this highly anticipated game so it might be worth voting hot anyway in the hope of starting a retailer price war!

Released on the 26th February.

Too rich for my blood so won't vote either way. I am waiting for a month or two for the price to halve. Looks like a very interesting game though.

Though this is the cheapest, I'd still go with ShopTo for 12p more. Guaranteed to get it on release day or 3 pound in your account.

Surely if nobody can find a cheaper price then this deserves some heat!

A game is ALWAYS cheapest somewhere. That doesn't mean it's a deal.

£36.99 at ]gamecollection.net

Used them before as have many from here, perfectly legit

i want this game, but it wont sell well so it will only be a few weeks before it hits the under £30 mark,

looks great in the demo but my idea of a game isnt a series of quick time events and a finger version of twister on the controller. I got bored in the two level demo!

surely that means its the cheapest deal available:thumbsup:

£37 is not a hot deal for a video game. Its a rip off.

It may be the best deal but its at normal rip off prices. So its not a hot deal or a bargain.

£37 isn't a rip off at all, depending on the game, of course.

I paid £39.99 (about £35 after GAME points and Quidco) for the Special Edition of Uncharted 2. I've clocked well over a hundred and twenty hours on the game, so when you break that down into how much I've paid for each hours worth of entertainment, it's nothing at all. Plus a lot of time and effort went into the game, it's well worth the price I paid.

I doubt I'll spend so much time on Heavy Rain, but I have the Special Edition on pre-order with HMV, about £38 something after Quidco - and it's worth it given how much entertainment I'll get out of it.

People pay £7 to watch a film, lasts an hour and half - or £10 for bowling, lasts about an hour or whatever. Video games are a very cheap form of entertainment.

you could say that about half the things on hot deals. The voting system is supposed to be based on best price regardless of your personal opinion on the price

I think £100 is a rip-off for an iphone but I wouldnt vote it cold cos its an amazing price relative to the market price.

I'm with you on this one

although im still guilty of holding off till it goes down in price does no 1 remember the days of paying 60 pounds for n64 cartridges?

if not i do. i remember my mum blowin a fuse about me wanting goldeneye 55sheets and iss64 65 sheets.

i think you will find 35-40 is very reasonable

the rip off for me in the gaming industry is game giving you a couple of pound for it used and selling it on 3x dearer

But this is not an amazing price relative to the market place. A new game costs around £37. This costs £37, how is that special? And any talk of special editions does not apply, this is the normal version is it not?

Edit, in fact its nearer to £38!

yawn, just vote it cold and move along then :whistling:

Reviews seem favourable, demo was interesting. I am trying to stick to £25 max for new realeases and £10 for older games, even if it means I'm a month behind release date.

I've always got a game to keep me going (Uncharted 2, MW2, Batman, Bayonetta, Fear 2 etc etc)

Might pay top dollar for God of War 3 though....

It's certainly the cheapest price, but when it's available at 39.99 at most other places, in relative terms, this isn't really a 'deal'. When it's at Amazon though (who, in my opinion are on of the best onlie retailers), then i'll probs buy from here
