When the hospital very kindly gave me MRSA, I had to shower in this for a week while taking the extra strong antibiotics. I was told pro-longed use of this is not good and could reduce your tolerance to naturally fighting off viruses, bugs, etc. I suppose its like prolonged use of antibiotics, your system becomes immune to the effect.

What is this?
It's what they use in hospitals to sterilise surgeons hand before surgery, it kills viruses etc, much more effective than antibacterial gel or wash

What is this?

Amazon do not specify this very well. It is for use on animals who gain an injury. It is designed to reduce infection.

I’ve been using it for my skin for years now as I suffered from acne on my body. I continue to use and my acne has been considerably better since using this. But yes the main use is for animal washing
It's also good for dogs if they hurt their paws. Our vet told us to use it to bathe our dogs paw when he cut it on something whilst out walking.
so if you are going to use for hand washing do you just use as regular hand soap or does it need diluting before pumping?

Yep use like regular hand soap.

It’s used neat for surgical hand washing.
The correct spelling is Hibiscrub
It's a great product, not at this price though

Prefer to use Safe 4 Handwash, this Hibiscrub made my hands react, switched to Safe4 and works a treat, search on Amazon.
It is basically a soap that contains chlorhexidine a disinfectant and antiseptic. Chlorhexidine is very effective and you can use this as a medicated shampoo on your dog to help with skin conditions caused by bacterial or fungal irritation.

I usually get the 3 pack for £17.95 as that works out £5.99 a bottle (500ml)
It’s spelt ‘Hibiscrub’ and not Hebiscrub’. The wrong spelling may not help others find the deal.

Is it for Humans or Dogs? It can't be both as Skin has very different PH.

Folks, there are good Vetinary pet scrubs, animal scrubs available at farm / livestock / agri goods country stores that dilute & do the job, its just folk blindly panicking (needlessly) for the "big brand names".

It’s definitely suitable for human use.

Theatre staff wash there hands in this several times a day all the time.
We've decanted this into 50ml spray bottles and diluted with water 3:1 to use as hand sanitizer.
Also not a good deal usually pay £5.50

That’s wrong because I ordered it on the 31st January for £5.56
I bought this size & then invested in the 1gallon, it is for human use on the skin, dont get it in your eyes.
Hospitals use it for handwashing or sterilization.
Deffinatly for humans as well as dogs. Use for folliculitis and other head infections.

No it isn't, is a handwash for humans, the picture on the bottle is a big clue, but has many others uses like the one you mention.

I used it constantly for several years in hospital when my eldest was undergoing treatment for leukaemia and still have it in the house today.

Hopefully you now feel as small as the extent of your knowledge!

Have you seen the price now... Holy sh**. I wish I had bought some more!
Amazon will hopefully pull any prices when they get ridiculous
.
You can thank the media for whipping up the hysteria.

Blimey! Tell me about it seems to be out of stock most places and the price has jumped. I usually buy this for my skin. Can't seem to source it at good price at the moment.
