You sound like a barrel of laughs.
I was thinking about making one myself but i thought if i buy only the hardware it would cost more.

I'm sure at this price point it's mild steel lightly sprayed so any knicks will corrode in due course, the literature probably mentions a care regime it's just whether you can be bother to inspect and care for it.

It's generally a really bad idea to make swings yourself unless you are confident about the pendulum forces involved, massively overengineer it or hang it from a tree. Pretty significant forces involved.

What any old tree... all trees no matter their age or size can withstand pendulum forces?
I'd be climbing all over this if I had the room
Do you have to place the swings near a roundabout? 🤪

To be honest, most of the stuff I have bought have done this, e.g. trampolines, but this is a good bargain even for something lasting a year. Thanks for the info.
I purchased one of these a while back. It was so bad , I had to send it back. Unstable, swing wasn't made correctly. Rope wasn't the same length on each side. Was really bad quality overall.

Yes, all trees, except obviously saplings under 30cm. No need to apply common sense.

Absolutely, you need all your swings, tree houses and dens signed of by a Structural Engineer and Health and Safety.

Whatever you do, don't try and build one yourself, you MUST buy one complete.
