+1 in branston beans, taste so much better
Why do people still buy these now watery tasteless beans ? As above Branston are much nicer Even the own brand Asda ones are much better than these at 4 tins for 99p

These will go well for my prepper Pantry.. Thanks OP heat added 🔥
Heinz beans are awful now. Branson are better, as said, but HP are better again. Hard to find though, think Heron is the only place to get them.
Another vote for Branson, Heinz are watery and vile.

For info ... Heinz bought HP Foods for £470m in 2005 ...
"When we asked 120 members of the
public to blind-taste baked beans
to see which they preferred, the
results were unexpected. Heinz is the market
leader, so you might think that its beans would
win, but rival Branston came out on top.
In fact, out of 12 varieties in the taste test –
including supermarket own-brands and
economy varieties – Heinz was placed joint
fourth, beaten not only by Branston, but also
Asda and Morrisons baked beans"

Beans doesn't mean Heinz afterall ...
Branston 6 pack of beans is £2, so cheaper and definitely better.
I'll probably get shouted at but I think the Aldi Corale Baked Beans are decent (can hardly say I'm a baked bean connoisseur)!
They have been this price for ages
If only the tins were stackable.
Had packs of 6 rtc at £1.44 instore today
Heinz used to be the number 1 by miles. Way too watery and not much taste.

branston all the way now.

aldi beans are ok - so are tescos.

little bit of butter as well
How much sugar per can?
I switched from Heinz to M&S beans. They're 35p a tin.

Ok might try the reduced sugar version. That’s more sugar I eat in 5 days!

I just think it's a shame the reduced-sugar versions are also reduced salt. But I suppose you can always add salt yourself.
Stock up before you self quarantine
Has virgin branched out into the tinned goods market?
Going straight into the WuFlu Pantry
I eat Sainsbury's reduced sugar better than Heinz and Branston's

That articles a lil out of date being from 2012 sadly.

Must be Virgin Beans
Suitable for vegans now, I tried Branston, ok but back to Heinz for me. Don't know how people judge Heinz as watery, just had some on toast, not watery at all. If you want to see watery beans look no further than Asda beans, you could drink half the tin. HOT for me.
Seriously wouldn't bother....Tesco own brand beans are the best and much cheaper.
Spend £5 to fill your tummy multiple times, and lower your gas central heating costs.
Get a 3 pack of poundland lighters and you can warm your home without giving a penny to HMRC. (Who needs Hive !?)

I don't think a taste test has an expiration date ... but just for you ...
... the same results in 2017 ... > dailymail.co.uk/new…tml ...
... you could always try them yourself and let us all know what your thoughts are ...
🥱
