300g tins? Translating the price to a normal-sized 415g can, that works out at 35p per can. Good value for Heinz beans, as long as you don't mind the unusual size of tin.
Can't stand Heinz beans, only like Tesco own brand but a great price for lovers of theses
last lot I got was all sauce....
Thanks op. great find, heat added

Still expensive compared to Branstons.
If you want to feed 2 people then you may need to open 2 cans and eat more. A false economy.

Also, lower bean content, compared to the usual size cans. Read the label.
Heinz must be getting desperate, producing smaller sizes for £1 shops.

they tend to have 3x415g of hp baked beans for £1 aswell. Personally think HP and Heinze taste the same.
these might be fake beenz
These are only 3 tins for £1 in Poundland as we got some yesterday

That's poundland. This is poundworld
I bought one of these cans in my local - expensive - corner store a few weeks back. Paid something about 90p for it.

Only when I got home did I realise that it was a smaller can than normal. Had enough beans in it to just about cover one slice of toast. Lots of sauce also - estimated a good 20% was just liquid. Not impressed.

You need Branston. Branston has a much higher beans-to-sauce ratio.

But a good size if you're having them as a side if only cooking for your self, save having half a tin of beans in your fridge for a couple of days
Good size, works out right for 2 slices of toast or to share between my two kids, they want slightly more than half a tin

Tes, Branston are amongst my two favourites - Branston or Sainsbury own brand. I had a patch when I had tins of Branston that were very full of liquid so stopped them for over a year now. Perhaps I will give them another go as they were tasty. But I find the Sainsbury own brand to be very tasty.

Years ago I used to love Mr. Chef beans - they had a very distinct taste - but I have not seen the brand on sale for years. They used to do a very good baked beans with sausage. Not that the sausage was much good but they were a tasty meal on toast.
These cans are just the right size for me. At this price, it's a no-brainer
Heinz are the best,end of!
Comparison site is showing the standard 4X415g at others majors for £2. Poundland is cheaper but suspect the odd can size might be a problem because isn't it really about 3 can equivalent?

Hopefully there isn't something really sneaky going on like a higher percentage water in the 300g cans. Suspect it is designed to get people to buy 8.

I bought a colgate Tootbrush from there. Guess how long it took to flare?

Shame they're slightly smaller tins - I always check before posting to £1 shop threads though. Poundworld and -land both sell full-size "2 for £1" Macaroni, Spaghetti Bolognese and Ravioli, though you probably know that already

The Baxter's soups the £1 shops sell are slightly smaller also.

false economy. There are less beans and more sauce in these. Usual deceptive tactics by multinationals. You're paying for the brand advertising.

Farts all over my 45 p a tin regular purchase. Didn't realise these we're smaller tins. Still works out cheaper through.

Have people still not learnt that Branstons are best?
Don't believe me?
Try a proper blind test and then say you don't like Branstons.

thee is a right pound world bargain hunter
Not bad value, but typical of manufacturers and multipacks, marketing a reduced sizing leading the consumer to think they are getting good value when in effect they are getting 3 full size cans.
The only beans I ever used to eat was Heinz, my children were the same till one day I was at my daughters and we had bangers mash n beans, the beans looked a slightly different colour then normal and when I mention it I was told my eyes were getting as knackered as the rest of me (my children are very respectful). I was eating the meal and I could tell the beans were not the same as usual, they were better, tastier, the sauce was more tomatoey (yes I know there`s no such word) Maggie (daughter) admitted the beans were not Heinz but were Asda own brand (not smart price)
Try them and you will see. taste what I mean, but don`t buy the healthier kind, low salt sugar, they are bloomin awful.

Pound stretcher same price
branston beans are like bullets, take a tooth out tackle.
Joke size tins. We prefer Branstons over Heinz, but sadly Branstons are getting greedy too. Aldi own brand premium beans 425G are around £1 for 4 tins. Taste decent too.
