Haha all of a sudden not such a good deal at all

Perhaps these tins are from somewhere else in Europe? 4x300g for £1 is good. Can you get 3x400g for £1?

I saw Home Bargains do them in 300g too (perhaps they were intended for another countries market hence not our UK Heinz website ?) Think at Home Bargains they were 29p each

I really like Baked Beans, I always used to buy Heinz, but was scunnered by the price, so I tried a few other brands, most of which were not worth a bean, then I tried Asda`s own brand which are approx £1.20 for a pack of 4 x 410g, they are really nice and I now actually prefer them. That`s after 40 odd years of Heinz, same with tomato soup, used to get Crosse & Blackwell as a kid, as an adult bought Heinz. Few months ago bought Crosse & Blackwell and it is far better then Heinz.

Good for stocking the cupboard for the new year

PoundWorld sell 3x415g tins for £1

If you insist on going to PoundLand then you might also want to carefully check the ingredients of these smaller tins as the 415g tins contain 51% beans and 34% tomatoes.
I'm sure the smaller tins in Poundland contain less than 50% beans and I think only 33% tomatoes.

I was in both PoundWorld (Blue banner, gold text) and PoundLand (green banner, white text) this morning.
Both sold the 300g tins (I'd noticed 300g tins before).
PW was 3 for £1, PL was 4 for £1

The base normal price for 415g tins is 50p. http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=252261477
Sometimes you can get them in multipacks for as little as 40p a tin.
Normal 415g tins: (checked Tesco website 08Jan2016)
51% beans
34% tomatoes

£1 shop 300g tins:
49% beans
33% tomatoes
