    For £2 this is expensive

In Iceland you can buy a bag of hash browns for £1 and 4 tins of branstons baked beans for £2 (edited)
    Yeah but... Branston. Ewwww

    Dear Heinz, stop it now.

What a awful gimmick. I'll stick to making my own hash browns with decent beans like Corale.
Then these were never for you. (edited)

Nice idea, beans and hash browns taste great together but this is pointless
Its not pointless, its a cheaper filling to put in a hash brown and a way to get rid of excessive stocks of beans (cheaper costs higher prfogits, until they fail! some marketing fool will be the toast of the company for a few weeks)

Try them when Heron/Farmfoods start selling surplus stock 3 for £1 (edited)

I prefer my beans ON TOP of my hash browns NOT inside them (edited)
I may want to mix them, but I want that to be my decision.

Beans filled hash browns sounds a bit boring
You haven't lived if you haven't tried
    Hunger breaks the full monty
Baked Beans in tomato sauce with pork sausages, potato chunks, button mushrooms, mini bacon burgers and a mini chopped & shaped beef & cereal cutlet?
    Only £1.60 at Sainsburys
    I don't think it's bad actually

Is it covered in full fat coke gravy?

I would say, get the McDonald's hashbrowns from Aldi, air fry @ 170 until golden and crispy and serve with Aldi or lidl beans

Who thought there was a need to combine these two separate items, surely this just ruins either item...
    Another method to cut costs

Tesco's version of Heinz Five beans are superior to baked beans. Hash browns don't need anything added to them.
    Defo not just you

An over-priced product with inferior beans.
  25. Avatar
From that video looks like you only get one or two beans in each hash brown.
  26. Avatar
Or just buy a bag of hash browns for a quid.. And tin of beans for 50p. Save money and taste nicer too
  27. Avatar
PLEASE Don't waste your money they are disgusting, if you want to try something different get the cheese ones.

These are so bland and the beans inside are horrible.

What an utterly stupid and pointless product. Having said that, this is Iceland which sells ‘salt and vinegar flavour’ chips, as if we are too stupid to put it on ourselves. Iceland really need to get a grip and stop churning out gimmicky nonsense or they’re going to completely lose their way.
  37. Avatar
Worth a try. Do people really rely on YouTube for opinions on things rather than trying them themselves? I mean it's a packet of hash browns not a brand new BMW X5.
  38. Avatar
Heinz just don't care any more but id give them a try for free though..

Next Month it's Chips with Ketchup already on ...
You say that as if it’s a joke and Iceland haven’t already got it in the pipeline
