2 weeks gone and this deal is still active! Absolutely loads available today. It almost feels that the more that sell the higher the allocation of the next delivery. Hardly a clearance line when it’s got fantastic replenishment. I’ve noticed that there is now a dump stack of these beauties in the main aisle. Currently owner of 200 tins 🤪

I can't believe how expensive beans have got, even own brand versions

I find the lidl brand tasty !

Same! I’ve recently switched from Heinz and must say I actually prefer the Lidl brand. Also, you seem to get more beans in the tin than you do with Heinz, which is an extra bonus.

Looking at these beans purely in terms of pricing, they are hot and we bought a dozen cans.

Having said that they are in a very watery sauce and do not taste of much (tomato or anything else) and so we are having a challenge finding ways to eat them. For example, the only way that we can deal with these as beans on toast is to drain the sauce from the beans as we do not like toast that you have to wring out before eating.

Heat in a pan instead of the microwave which reduces the sauce and mix a load of worcestershire sauce in for flavour.

I hope no nosey parkers enlarged the receipt just to see what else they bought!

Just some fizzy soft drinks & crisps to go with the healthier organic beans

Get ready for not liking the organic version.
Mainly as it tastes more of beans and less of usual sugar!

£1 for 4 is the best price for the other brand pre inflation, so it's a good deal in these times.

    £1.50 in my local!

How are they any different to the usual Heinz Beans?
    The_narrow_path's avatar
They're organic. Grown without any pesticides and artificial fertilizers. Healthy for you and the soil/water/air.
