These got a Ride recommended award in June when they were priced at £189.99.

Great price for an excellent glove which are effectively 2 in 1.

There are a lot better gloves out there for a lot better money . The ride recommended spada enforcer for instance, less than half the price and very toasty £140 is way too much . No one falls for the was £3 million now only £100 anymore either .

Are the Spada enforcer waterproof? I need a new pair of gloves and could do with some recommendations! I want something not too thick but waterproof as my grips do a good job of keeping me warm but only when I'm dry!
I ride all year round , and use the spada enforcer gloves . They are 'very' warm and not too chunky either, at a fair price. Im due a new pair now as these have lasted me about 4 years constant use riding every day . The enforcers are the ones i will be buying
Spada Enforcers weren't in the June review which was specifically looking at all year round gloves. The furygan quartz won the budget segment at £59.99 and Richa Hurricane gtx won the mid range group at £99.

Of the Spada gloves they did test, all scored low for build quality and coping with hot weather. None were CE marked either which is probably why these Held gloves are much pricier.
As I said , i ride all year round , the enforcers do just that . They are great all year gloves, apart from on the hottest of days 25c plus , but you just need to ride faster . As for the testing that goes on , most of it is done with a belt sander and a tester wearing them for a couple of days , not real world stuff . Wouldnt touch the over priced held stuff , Im sure they arent rubbish , but im certain they are over priced at £138 !
