Catching criminals???????????????????????????????

Dunno about your area, but here (Cambs/Essex) the pathetic SeeYouNextTuesdays couldn't catch a fragging COLD!!!

My car was intentionally rammed by a Psychotic farmer when I was stopped, he drove off and I chased him, got in front of him and found a copper. OBVIOUSLY, the copper would charge him with leaving the scene of an accident, dangerous driving, and give him a driving ban.

But no, he was all matey with the farmer and told him to go home (so he could get his story straight with the other farmer), gave the psycho my address, gave me his insurance details and did nothing more. I then put in a complaint against the bent copper and was told (despite evidence proving he had left the road so he could ram me) that it "wasn't worth their time to investigate".

The farmer has since caused at least one more serious accident since then (that I have seen) - and still nothing is being done.

This is just one of many incidents where the local police refuse to do anything.

Rant over!

EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention that the local police also have a nasty habit of tailgating other road users, trying to scare/unnerve them into making a mistake so they can do you for it. I'm just waiting until next time they do it to me because of the imaginary deer that will suddenly jump out in front of me and force me to do an emergency stop

No, flamedeer are real and so are flying deer!!!

I found a flamedeer!......or was it a flying deer?

Tempted but I'd be worried it couldn't cope with outdoor flying and spying in neighbours windows...

Thanks

Now if this came with an IR camera I'd be deffo buying it ;-)

I have one of these. The 'copter is pretty good. A bit larger that some of the other similar versions (I guess the extra size means bigger rotors and more lift so that it can raise the weight of the camera). It's stable and easy to control though.

The camera is 640x480 and as expected needs pretty good light to record a decent video. It records audio too, which is a bit pointless as all you hear is the sound of the motor. It can also take stills. The camera is positioned at a fixed angle which points slightly downward rather than straight ahead which is a shame as it means it's more difficult to judge what you're recording and you have to fly quite close to the ceiling to capture anything other than the floor.

The camera and helicopter are charged separately and both can be charged from a mains powered usb charger so you don't drain the controller batteries (usb cables are supplied). It comes with a 1GB microSD too which given the relatively low resolution of the camera is plenty big enough.

For the money this is a great buy.

Good if you have a fit neighbour
