The game is very good in my opinion but the caveat for that is you would ideally be playing with a squad of friends who can communicate and vary the roles to maximize survivability.

If you are lone wolfing it then prepare for a hiking simulator mixed with being the deer in a hunting simulator.

You can sometimes get a good game with randoms but depends on if people are using their mics.

Another massive factor is having a team commander that knows what they are doing.

When you're winning and advancing it's great but when you're being trounced by a superior team you want to chuck the game out of the window.

As noted above, this game is sooo frustrating, it is a matter of hiking miles, and then being shot by a sniper you cant see and then starting the hike again. No one playing it seems to know what they are doing, so the squad commander actions all seem to be ignored. I'm sure its good if you have enough time to understand the game and the mechanics. If you just want to point and shoot CoD or BF style, this is definitely not the game for you.

I've been really tempted by this on a number of occasions but it just seems tailormade for campers.

It's a very hardcore game and you really do need to communicate with people to make the most of it..I prefer Isonzo.. hardcore but not as much as Hell Let Loose.

Use a mic and learn the squad leader position....even to drop spawn points for your team (outposts / garrisons) then you will have fun.

I downloaded when it was free on the ps monthly games. I enjoy playing it occasionally when fed up with cod and Fortnite. The games are long as other have said you spend a lot of your time hiking to get sniped. If your team aren’t using mics then join another. Tanks are great fun. You really need to be lucky and join some Americans who are happy to explain how the game works.
