On one hand this is a great price, on the other I could see Microsoft flat out giving this game away on PS4 at some point just to try and win over as many people as possible for when they launch the sequel
Pretty sure Steam and XBL have all dropped below the £10 mark. Not a bad deal per se but it really about time for that magic £8.99 price.
Can't wait for the sequel. If it can match the atmosphere and story of this game while massively improving the actual gameplay, it'll be fantastic.
I feel odd for not liking this game. It gets overwhelming praise. I found it the most boring walking simulator I have ever tried. I really tried to get into it and like it but eventually came to the acceptance I hated it and it wasn't for me. I then loaded divinity original sin 2 back up.

You are not as alone as you think. I did complete this but found it terribly overrated. The combat is quite repetitive but I found myself wanting more just to escape the monotony of the walking.

Dis you have it going through a headset or surround speakers? I found that the audio was a massive part of the atmosphere envelope.
Headset. The sound was good but that couldn't make up for the boring repeated puzzle over and over and over again. The combat was few and far between , cut scenes too long and the walking a snoozefest. The audio was the best thing about it. It just wasn't for me. I guess in my younger years I would have seen it through but family man these days limits my playtime to games that grab me.

I'm guessing you've seen the trailer? It still gives me chills.

I didn't enjoy it either. The puzzles and combat are mediocre. Graphically it is impressive and the subject mattet and the sound effects are very innovative. However the combination of the hallucinagenic visuals and the creepy voices made me feel horribly sick every time I played it. Overall it was a miserable experience, I gave up half way through.
