Reduced to £13.99! (Thanks MBeeching)
My kids love this, not sure why, scares the out of me!

Hello Neighbor is a stealth horror game about sneaking into your neighbor's house to figure out what horrible secrets he's hiding in the basement. You play against an advanced AI that learns from your every move. Really enjoying climbing through that backyard window? Expect a bear trap there. Sneaking through the front door? There'll be cameras there soon. Trying to escape? The Neighbor will find a shortcut and catch you.

  • Suspenseful horror gameplay (not jump scares) that focuses on sneaking around your neighbor's house
  • Constantly evolving experience where the Neighbor's AI counters your moves, and learns from what you do
  • Sandbox-style gameplay with plenty of environmental interaction and physics

Have been quite tempted by this, it looks like a lot of fun! Anyone got it?

I paid for the beta and it's very good, lots of things to interact with and puzzles to solve. Plus the scary neighbour who chucks you out of his house.

My kids squeal with excitement when the neighbour is chasing them but I find it terrifying

PEGI 7? Is that reasonable?

Yeah, I said preorder in title

You can get this on Russian Xbox store for I think around £12
microsoft.com/ru-…97k
but as of yet I'm not going for it as it doesn't say it's play anywhere (Xbox 1/Windows 10)
Though I'm pretty sure it is.

it's weird how sinister and creepy it is, even with the cartoony design.

the guy just silently comes at you. horrible.

only played it once: for a few hours, but it was unsettlign. in a good way.

Alpha version demo free to play on gog.com

I will happily pay full price for this game when it comes out, I watch the kids play it regularly and its great fun!!

According to xe.com, 1199 Rubles is £15.13, allowing for exchange difference on buying store credit, you are talking probably £16, still a good deal though. Tempted for Xbox myself.

xbox.com/en-…bor
It states play anywhere, and when you click it for pre-order it doesn't mention it :-/

True, but seeing as it doesn't look like a preorder price, might be worth waiting for Friday and seeing if the page updates to Play Anywhere. I am loving it is Xbox One X Enhanced though as just got one a few days ago

Problem with Russian pricing, the forza ultimate wasn't a preorder deal and the price went up just before release to pretty much same price as the uk version.
Think when Microsoft see a mass influx of outside of Russia they close the loophole in a sense.

My lad has a Xbox one X and I game on PC so it's win win with play anywhere

Gotta love hukd, i've seen people go from 0 - 100 in seconds on here screaming about ea encouraging kids to gamble with micro-transactions but no one is batting an eyelid at them playing a game where they learn how to break and enter.

That aside it looks like an Interesting game. (dont watch too much video footage like i did, Spoilers!!!) Hopefully there's enough meat on the bones and replayability to warrant the price? Heat for the nod.

Currently £13.99, might be worth updating the price.

Just looked on the Xbox store to see if they have updated the page to show Play Anywhere, but they haven't, I am reluctant to buy until I know I can get the Play Anywhere version. Also checking the Xbox reviews and not getting very good reviews right now.

£15.99 was meh, extra £2 off though... Bought

I know those of us talking about the Xbox version have sidetracked the deal a little (ok, mostly me, very sorry). However, I have been looking around to see why the Xbox version doesn't say 'Play Anywhere' and here it is: news.xbox.com/en-…ow/

Basically, Play Anywhere support is coming next week. Although it doesn't state explicitly that those who buy the Xbox version digitally now will automatically get Play Anywhere (after all some games exist in Xbox only and Play Anywhere form), I would expect it will unlock when available for those who buy now. Again it is around £16 on the Russia Xbox Store at the moment.

I would be cautious with play anywhere availability unless explicitly specified. There are many people who own Halo Wars Definitive Edition as part of Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition, although the title is play anywhere they cannot download on PC. Customer services were less than helpful for most and claimed it was pre order only etc and that they didn't qualify, even though said people could download the Xbox version. I was fortunate and after 3 different live chats with customer services I sent them through some screenshots and they gave me a download code for the PC version.

Many unlucky people complaining in the amazon reviews.

I know this probably won't be the case with any other game but I would still be a little cautious with pre orders unless explicitly stated as a Play Anywhere title.

Funnily enough that is why I have held off buying on day one. Gears of War was similar, it released without Play Anywhere and later got a Play Anywhere release. I know digital codes can still be bought without Play Anywhere (they get put on here every now and then) even though it looks like you can only buy the Play Anywhere title from MS themselves now.

Hello Neighbor is meant to get Play Anywhere sometime this week anyway looking over one of the launch articles. Since this was advertised before release as being Play Anywhere, I expect everyone who buys now will get it when available, but I am a bit reluctant still until I know for sure. Plus an extra week might mean a patch to get out some more of the early release bugs.
