In Barker's original Hellraiser, Kirsty Cotton (Ashley Laurence) comes head-to-head with the Cenobites demonic beings from another realm who are summoned by way of a mysterious puzzle box. Picking up immediately after the events of the original Hellraiser, Hellbound: Hellraiser II finds Kirsty detained at a psychiatric institute and under the care of Dr. Channard, a man with an unhealthy interest in the occult. Meanwhile, Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth sees Pinhead and his band of Cenobites let loose in our own world, with terrifying consequences.

Never tire of these movies. Part 1 timeless classic, part 2 not bad, part 3 I found fun as a kid but not so much anymore. Disgusting what happened to series beyond that. I wish Clive would make movies again. Horror desperately needs him back, and UK also needs Nightbreed on Blu. Maybe it'll be in HMV Exclusive collection one day?

Part one is a decent horror (with poor acting). Part 2 is a confusing mess where they just added more gore than plot, and 3 is absolutely awful.

I sincerely hope he doesn't make movies again if Lord of Illusions is anything to go by
Brilliant box set from the master of horror ( and a Scouser ) Clive Barker

Great collection. Superb picture quality (well best so far). Loads of extra content. Well worth it.

3 is worth watching because of the messed up framing

Transfers are fine. They are the best you can hope for due to optical effects work, relatively low budget etc.

Are they better than the DVD sets?
Yes.
Part 1 & 2 great. Part 5 is actually amazing. The rest are gash.

I took your word for it and bit the bullet....
Mate at school was in a metal band called Cenobite after the monsters from the Hellraiser films. He got the right hump when I told him that Cenobite was an archaic word for a monk who lived and engaged near communities and had been appropriated by Barker.
