Thanks for the tip off. I have an £88 voucher from the 50% cashback promo and needed a cheap desk!!

These lot are jokers, ordered some furniture for parents an age ago, chased them up with an email and days later they say due to a processing error the order was cancelled!

Might have been handy if they had told me about the so called 'error' rather than me being patient then having to chase them!

perhaps a one off - because I've ordered furniture from them too ( a lot of heavy stuff ) and was amazed to receive it just 2 days after ordering. And, the delivery was only £2.99 using the code found on here - pretty awesome considering it took two delivery guys to carry all the stuff up 3 flights of stairs.
So I can't fault them.

how come you find so many good deals?

Good stuff! I was in the market for a new desk - this fits the bill perfectly. Well, almost! Also reduced on CDiscount is the Stockholm variety, with the warm pine colour desk of the same style. That one was £39.99 so I had that instead!

Cheers muchly for the heads-up amibees!

I bought some Helskinki furniture from these guys and got it within 2 days, great service.

Havent opened the flatpack yet but I expect it to be good quality!

I just went on and it was there for £1 + £1.99 delivery!! It must be a mistake but I tried it anyway. Unfortunately the free delivery voucher did not work but hey ho! I doubt they will honour it though.

Here is the validation!

Yes the same happened with me. I've order one so hopefully I'll get it  !

Noticed that it had gone up to what I thought was £100 but as you say it was £1.00 but unfortunately the site now seems to be offline (for me anyways).

I dont know if it will come but its now on there for £1 delivered for £2.99:thinking:

There are also 2 chests of drawers at £0! Ordered, never happen though....

Actually, look at some of the RRPs. The site is not working properly me thinks.....

it seems the Cdiscount site is down, I think someone has pulled the plug on the entire server to halt anymore orders, it looks doubtful people will be getting these, just my opinion of course, good find though

I think £99 was a bit overpriced, I got a desk almost identical to this in B&Q for £26 a few months ago.

Well a one off for me as only ordered once....correction my other half ordered something and there was a boob with that too and they are yet to repsond on that matter but she took the polite approach, I never wasted proper grammar and such like on them as they did not appear to be worth it.

Certainly not a one off from what I have read, apparently they are not the best at repsonding when things don't go as planned.

As for not faulting them, on the latter part, it's the delivery company you can't fault or more the guys probably as they were probably not obliged to carry the stuff up the stairs.

Anyone had a cancellation yet? (or shipping notification, lol!)

No I have had not had a peep since the initial e mail. Not too hopeful!

My desk order status changed to shipped with order tracking number. Good price for £1.00+£1.99I also managed to order an Acer laptop for £0.00 + £2.99 which is also shipped with tracking number. Did anyone get anything from CDiscount in the past at misprice value? Will they take full price later on or demand the item to be sent back?

Can someone unexpire this post? Desk is still available for £33 as mentioned in the title.

A laptop? How did I miss that?!?!?!?

The notifications are just that Home Delivery Network know about the parcel, doesn't mean it'll get shipped but we shall see. I ordered some more furniture at £0, may as well do out my whole bedroom

I'm sure they'd find it quite difficult considering they accepted the price you paid then shipped the item. If you paid by credit card or Visa debit card you should be covered if they take any further payment. Maybe just keep a copy of the order confirmation email as proof  .

Yeah, sure they can't bill again legally? Besides, that would mean they retained your card info which I don't think they do?

EDIT: Just saw this:

9.5We are under no obligation to provide any Product to you at an … 9.5We are under no obligation to provide any Product to you at an incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a Dispatch Confirmation.

So am guessing shipping notifications are done way before things leave the warehouse. If there were lots of items at £0 I'm guessing the poor sods in the warehouse are having a great time going back through every order and putting stock back in the racks again. Hell, my stuff was heavy!

I got the shipped e mail too so fingers crossed!;-)

Apparently mine are currently residing in a depot at Droitwich Spa, this is actually looking promising!

Well if you're about to get a free laptop then that would certainly be one of the bggest misprice successes in HUKD history

Nah, didn't get a laptop. Didn't see those

I did however just refit 3 bedrooms for £6.98! 3x9 drawer chest, 3x6 drawer chest, 3x bedside table and 2x desk. They're at the stoke depot now.

Just received my desk. Not opened it yet but at £2.99 it is quite the bargain:whistling:. Thanks again for the post.

Nice one

My stuff is set to carry over, so guessing it'll come tomo. Still amazed they sent these, really wasn't expecting it but thought it was worth the risk. Just moved house so very good timing.

Since Saturday my order status has been stuck at:

"Your order has been picked in our warehouse and is now in the process of being dispatched"

I wonder if the cancellation email will be in my inbox in the next day or two?

Laptop was loaded onto vehicle from depot at around 8AM. It didn't arrive today. I won't be surprised if it is called back.

Well my stuff was logged as cannot deliver, reason held, at 9:20ish this morning. However they then put it on the van at 10ish. I called the depot, apparently it is out for delivery, could be any time though.

EDIT: And now its back at the depot, no attempt to deliver. Say the driver had an accident, bah!

Damn - I jinxed it by posting here! Order is now cancelled  !

Bad luck, did it ever get a tracking number or just sit on picking? Still very suprised any got out, they had 3 days to cancel them as they weren't picked up til Monday morning.

EDIT: Mine has arrived now apparently

I got my laptop and desk today. I just hope they won't charge full amount to my card later on.

Not sure they can? Surely if that was the case, any retailer that made a misprice could just charge the card again at a later date. Taking money without the card holders authorisation, can't see how it can be legal?

I payed on a credit card, so will report any such attempt as a fraudulant transaction. Well done on the laptop, I'd rather have that than furniture! However, if I like the look of it when I get home I shall be ordering a wardrobe or 2 to go with them, so they'll make a little of it back.

Blimey! Sounds like a few of you got lucky!

My desk arrived eventually and came without half the instructions, so I had fun last night piecing it together using nothing more than common sense with a liberal dose of trial and error!

Good quality gear though, for the money. And I paid £40, not £4! So you guys got a bargain!

Well I just got this in my email:

Dear Mr xxxxxWe are sorry to hear you have received the items you have … Dear Mr xxxxxWe are sorry to hear you have received the items you have been refunded for. Please call 08444 99 00 99 at your earliest convenience and ask for Nicola.I can then arrange a collection of these items.

So looks like they have refunded me too. Woohoo, free furniture! Am guessing its to make me think I have a legal obligation to return it, but thats a load of balls surely?

Maybe just check with Consumer Direct (you can get their number on Saynoto0870.com). Have you made up any of the furniture?

Yup, some is put together. Not bad stuff, not sure I'd pay what they're after for it but is alright.

Consumer Direct say the deal is done, but they may still take me to court to reclaim them. There is a law regarding levels of expectation of price, that covers this. Apparently if a consumer knows a price is wrong, they should question it. They'll definately need to involve the courts though, without legal intervention the goods are mine.
