Omg I bought one two days ago and they wont pay the difference

Buy it walk round to cs and return it on the original receipt?
Please note the mattress size. It’s not the normal single size.
FYI if you're only going to use it as a single never a double you can just use a standard single mattress - the extension can pull out a little to accommodate the extra width and plug the gap and the end with a blanket/cushions/soft toys.

Useful deal. Shame I want the grey one.
Have one of those and it's been great when we have guest!

Great price, but don’t forget these don’t come with the mattresses, you need to buy them separately
Fantastic day bed, generous size as well and the memory foam mattresses are super comfy (but bought separate)
Great design, bed, sofa, storage, double bed, still got storage.
Heat

The normal uk single mattress size is 90cm x 190cm. This bed will need 2 x 80cm x 200cm which ikea sell or get it custom made from mattress factory.

Also, the IKEA mattresses for this are so uncomfortable. Try getting some from somewhere else
Which ikea mattress is the firmest? For this bed size. Thanks. Ikea is too far away for me, can’t try in store. Thanks
They're also selling this with 2 mattresses on offer for family card holders, £319 total cheapest with 2x White MOSHULT firm, or £359 total with 2 x MALFORS firm/medium firm or £429 total with 2 x HUSKIVA firm.

£319 above.

From my experience their mattresses all feel crunchy.
Nice but no good if you are a tall person
I have had it for 3 years and I love it. I got 2 morgedal firm mattresses for it and, while they are quite bulky when stacked, they turn it into a real double bed.
Cool. My daughter has one of these and mum has been after one for her house.
I had this delivered last week and just built it last night! How frustrating... Will IKEA price match/guarantee? I only bought it about 10 days ago!

Will a standard single mattress fit then or overhang?
Bookmarking, thanks for the heads up

This is exactly what to do if you can spare the time to go to store. Done it a few times in the past
My daughter has one of these and likes it. I wouldn't recommend buying the sprung mattress - the memory foam is cheaper and more comfortable. The drawers are the full width of the bed so hold lots.

I thought they had a 90 day price guarantee, linked to Ikea family?
Otherwise they'll have to collect my built bed, refund me and then deliver me a new one? Where's the sense in that?
I don't want the top half, so close to buying it.
Have one but they are a nightmare on carpet as it then takes two to pull the extra bed out.
Bought this and the IKEA mattresses for my daughter a month or so ago, it's a terrific bed, and she absolutely loves it. Decent saving on the normal price, as I think it was almost 400 with the mattresses and sheets to fit them
Yeah and that’s another issue, different sized mattress means bed sheets, mattress cover etc have to be bought from ikea too

I agree it's a great bed, but on a deep pile carpet pulling out the extra bed is a massive undertaking. I have to take all the drawers out, and keep pulling each side a little bit out, until fully expanded. Then put the drawers back in.

This exact procedure is required!
Bed is OK, we've had it 2 years now, and 2 of the draws have sagged and fallen off their rails (I've replaced them both, IKEA give free replacements for fitments). Pretty sure I bought it when it was on offer then too.

The standard mattress that folds into a double is horrible. We ended up getting a standard UK size mattress (90x190) and pulled the bed out 10cm to fit it in. Much more variety to choose from then and not restricted to IKEAs range. Can stuff the missing 10cm of space at the end with a spare pillow.
Is this a bed specifically for naps during the day?
We've had this for a good few years. Be wary about the mattresses. If you pick the wrong one, and open it, they won't refund you even though you obviously can't use it.
Other than that, really well built. Great storage, and slides out to be a decent size bed for guests.
I really want this in the proper single size for my daughters’ room when the eldest goes to uni. Does anyone know where I can find this..? Thanks guys x
Make sure you get the decent mattresses as the cheaper ones are very very uncomfortable when used as a double & even as a single bed!

I think they changed that policy recently - ikea.com/gb/…cy/
Which mattress type should I go for? 👀
