If you need a new cylinder cleaner, get this one, it's the best.

had mine 7 years and still going strong.

had a DC01 before, which was garbage.

Old house has tenants using one which is 17years old, no Dyson will ever come close to being that good value.

Vertually indestructable. Use these at work and they suck up everything thrown at them and more. Hot price. Highly recomended.

fab fab hoover! so cute too, not that it matters
I got mine from homebase too for £85 few weeks ago, only because they had 15% off everything

however mine says numatic on it, don't know if thats different?

I bought a Charles from Homebase over the weekend with 10% off (Friday and Saturday were 10% days)...Well happy.

Charles is Henry, but can suck up liquids...

Really happy with purchase.

not including delivery, you only get free delivery if it's over £80, plus you don't get nectar points..

They seem to have this a lot as bought this about 3 months back same deal but got 1000 bonus nectar points and extra 10% off as it was their 10% off weekend too! Worth looking out for deals like that.

Ours blew up! Perhaps I shouldn't have used to suck up the dead leaves off the decking though X)

In my opinion, no they haven't... I had two DC07s, they were expensive, and unreliable. I even replaced the motor myself on one occasion only to have something else break. Dyson's suck hard in more than one way....

Erm, they've moved on rather from the DC07 too!

What people don't realise with Henrys is that they might be "indestructable" but they just don't work very well. For a start, cylinder cleaners don't brush the carpet, unlike uprights. And secondly. their filtration is poor. So you get air full of dust which just settles again.

Great cleaner.........

It's £85.99 from Amazon with free delivery if you don't have a Homebase near you.

The Charles wet and dry Vacuum is £99.98 from Homebase, minus your 10% ends 20th July it says.

I have one, replaced the Dyson. I would recommend. Ours is a pink 'Hetty'. Bought it for the wife via HDUK - £61 bargain.

We've got a Numatic "Henry" - bought it from a local shop that sells and services vacuum cleaners (amazing that such shops still exist) - means that the man their probably knows what he's talking about as he's been servicing/selling vacuum cleaners for years! He said that he only sells the Numatic ones as these are aimed at commercial rather than the ones branded as Henry's which are aimed at domestic use and as a result the Numatics were better quality as were design for much heavier usage.

We used to have a Vax (bought ~20 years ago) and had it serviced at this shop a few times - at that stage we were strongly advised not to think about replacing it as nothing new (even the new Vax models) were up to the quality/robustness if the original Vaxes but eventually it got beyond the point of being fixable and were advised that the Numatic was the best option. The other very fiirm advice given was not to even think about a Dyson!

Mine is about 10 yrs old. It's strong and dependable, but I don't think its the greatest at actual cleaning. It doesnt brush, it has very poor filtering and is hopeless if you have pets. Fine on hard floors though.

We're about to move and mine will be relegated to garage and car duty, where it's perfectly suited.

If you need these extra features, they make the Henry Xtra HERE, which has a 3-stage Microfresh filter system as well as an Airo power brush, which is an air drivren rotating brush head.

We have a hetty which is just brillant, best vaccum cleaner I've used. We mainly have hard floors but also use it on the few carpets we do have with no complaints at all.
Would recommend Henry or Hetty anyday you won't be disappointed.

True! I have one and it works great with my long haired cats fur. Really scrubs it out of the carpet unlike the previous pet hair vacuum I had. Would highly recommend.

The thing with Dyson's is... they're are crap, unless you own one. The having spent so much money on one you won't hear a bad word against them.

And that price excludes vat making it £89.87

I have one which is about 20 years old. Still works fine, but has now been relegated to garage/car cleaning duties. From memory, I think it was c£100 nearly 20 years ago!

I had a Dyson once, but didnt get on with it. Our everyday vacuum is now a Miele, which I rate highly.

Russel Howard has some funny sketches with a henry hover.

Jonsend

ROFL!!! Love it!

Brillaint price!

@ Jonsend

LMAO! brilliant!

Henry is a top bloke, has been doing our cleaning for over 2 years.

Been looking for one of these for weeks. Bought one tonight, thanks

Haha Henry is always up to no good.

I will add myself to the hating dyson and favouring the henry crowd.
