The cordless Henry’s are rubbish.
Picked one up the other day from the Irvine store. Didn't post as these Tesco offers require a goose chase.

It must be powered by coal.
Don't know about the cordless, but everyone I know rates Henry as the best hoover and they are the only one made in the UK

really, they suck.
Made a mistake of buying a cheap cordless. Won't do it again. There's a reason why Dysons are pricey - they actually work!

Come on. By now, everyone knows Dysons are scheisse. You must, MUST be trolling.
New type henrys are terrible for suction. Due to eu rules on having to use less powerful motor. Older types had boost switch which allows 1000+ watt. I returned new version and bought refurbished older one off ebay
I really appreciate this thread and the advice, i have a hoover ( which i dont use much as the noise scares me ) but the little lady wants a new one ( early Xmas present ) and swears by Henry hoovers, i was about to bite on a cordless one as they seem to be all the rage but after reading this lot im probably going to get a refub secondhander from that other site..cheers peeps

More efficient not less powerful. I have several of each for my business and the new ones are at least as good as the old ones which are always run on max power settings.
