Are they genuine though? Lots of reviews on Amazon saying they're not..

I'd go John Lewis all day long, however the Amazon ones do look identical to JL, maybe just a few bad experiences with them?

I'll use JL myself I think.

Let's hope they don't all get hoovered up quickly... Boom boom!

I use the ones from argos £6.49 for 10, no complaints from me

If u buy directly from amazon or fulfilled by amazon they will be original. If u buy from amazon marketplace then it's possible they may be fake.

do you need a bag? i know some people use the hoover without the bag and empty when required.

does it matter that theu arnt genuine, a hoover bag is a hoover bag

Numatic Henry..... Henry isn't made by Hoover

Yeah, and Hoover bags are for Hoover vacuum cleaners, not Henry

Hoover isn't a verb, it's a brand

anyway, I'm off to have a Jacuzzi in my Levi's, got a bit of a headache, so may take an Aspirin with a glass of Coke

Hoover is actually a verb now and has been for some time "to hoover/clean something", however yes, technically you're right.

I like the tongue in cheek follow up to your comment too... lol!

Yes, you can use a Henry with no bag. However, using a bag makes the whole experience cleaner and you don't need to wash the filter so often, but you do lose a little suction.

great deal these are 10 pounds in sainsburys thanks OP X)

These are great bags, when full there is very little dust in the bag chamber compared to paper bags there was always dust in the bag chamber and the cloth filter was always blocked up. These have good suction until near full compared to paper bags suction drops off quickly.
