Because they are really good. 30 foot plug cable, no filters to constantly need cleaning and replacing, a bag which holds several week's worth of hoovering. Fantastic suction. There's good reason that builders and other tradespeople use it. All for £82 V's Dyson prices? It's a no brainer. As someone who has owned two Dyson's, a terrible Vax and an actual Hoover previously, I'd say without doubt this is the best vacuum I've ever had.
I got sacked from my first Saturday job for breaking one of those things while hoovering up the Game computer Store. I've always hated them because of that. It was even grinning at me on the way out.

My Nilfisk kicked Henri's ass.

You don't look very professional with a Henry.
Cheers could have done with this 2 weeks ago but think I’ll buy another at this price
Best hoover on the market, major suicidal tendencies regarding mobility, but it does a great job with minimal maintenance, get the carpet beater head and its a force to equal far more expensive brands ... if only they could sort the wheelie suicide habit every time you try and move him
Great price, Henrys are built like tanks they last a long time
Are these reduced power since the EU regulations compared to the older models? (Just curious)

Great, will be on a look out for a good deal. Cheers
Problem is homebase reserve and collect is pants. My local is showing 6 in stock but I bet they will call to say they're all gone

This is a good deal, it's normally about a £100+
Once you've had one of these, you realise you've been conned previously by the supposed wonder of bagless. Bagless = filters, filters = nightmare
This deal sucks.

Agreed but strangely plenty of professional institutions have cleaners using 'The Henry'.
This or Miele C1?
Are Henry's worth it or sharks?

Bacause the suction is very strong, will clean every little hairs from carpets and it lasts.

Cause Henry never gets full*. He’s always hungry Henry is 🏻

*Henry does get full sometimes but just change his bag and he’s like a strong-man at a buffet
Grabbed one of these a few months back. So much better than every other vacuum out there.

Compared to one of those poxy Dyson Animals for example, the Henry kids toy is better.

The savings can also be spent on beer.
I have 2 of them and both suffer from loose metal pipes. It is really frustrating as the bottom half falling off all the time.
These are legit better then Dyson Hoover and all the other brands

It was this that convinced me years ago - everyone I know in the trade swears by Henrys, even above industrial brands of vacuum, because they are cheap, reliable and easy to repair. Our builder sent his tumbling down an uncarpeted flight of stairs when he was working on our house and it survived completely unscathed, and in the decade or so since we've had ours it's been subjected to all sorts of horrors like picking up ridiculous amounts of plaster and dust during house renovations and just worked every time.
Amazon are mainly selling the 240-11 model compared to this 160-11, anyone know if there's much difference?
Is there any evidence of this additional 15% discount for Reserve & Collect?

I can find no mention of it on the Homebase web site...

If viewing from a desktop, there's a big orange banner across the top of the Homebase homepage and also on this products page. Might be different from a mobile.

Many thanks!

I am using a PC to view it, but something in my Waterfox browser is blocking the banner (not sure what - I tried disabling UBlock Origin, Ghostery and Privacy Badger, but it still doesn't show for me. But it did show if I tried using Chrome, which I rarely use).

Gets the job done though. If I had a choice of using a Henry, Dyson, Shark or Vax, I’d pick the Henry without any hesitation.

The tank of vacuum cleaners

I think the 240-11 has a 9 litre drum to hold the waste compared to 6 litres on the 160-11. There could be more differences for sure, like when it was made and the wattage it uses for example. I haven't had time to look into it tho sorry
The Best and I've had them all (Well most) You Never see these at the dump or for sale at Bootsales unlike poser Dysons or copies of..They are great, IF you remember to look after it, ie: Change the bag (most ppl don't) and clean the hepa filter from time to time..But they last a lifetime and suck in a good way.
I realised this week, when the on/off switch stopped working, that I’ve had my Henry for 18 years!!
Fortunately the switch is stuck on, so it just needs to be switched on/off at the plug socket.
Couple of replacement hoses but otherwise he’s worked perfectly all that time.
That’d be maximum of £10/year at this price. Bargain.

Good question, I asked someone who has used many brands and models of vaccum cleaners for many many years - she said this has good suction, lesser noise, easy to use and very well built. I think in one word it is over all quality...bees knees of vaccum. Dyson are way pricey and overhyped..antithesis of this
I’m seeing lots of great Homebase deals, pity they shut down my local branch a few years back
