Freezing.... Over inflated RRP. You can a watch like this on AliExpress for under £20.
I generally don't rate fashion watches, especially Quartz ones.

However, in the flesh, Henry's watches look pretty nice well made - and this has a stainless steel case, which you do pay a premium for.

They look like they're trying to copy early Smiths watches from the '60s - even the Henry font is similar to the Smiths font.

I don't think this is the nicest Henry watch I've seen. I prefer leather-strapped ones like this, which is around the same price.

However, the £57 is less than most other retailers right now, so I'd give this the benefit of the doubt. I'd rather wear something like this than an Emporio Armani at the same price point.

I would add though, that you can get a Seiko 5 automatic watch for around this price - and that's likely to last a lifetime and also be able to be sold in 10 years time and you'd still get £30 for it, which can be useful if you like collecting/trading-up your watch collection.

I have noticed that. There are many Frankenwatches from India that say they're Seiko, but have crazy coloured dials that don't have the same shape as the cases. Most are easily spotted but some are a bit more insidious.

here's a 'beautiful' example. That particular one might actually have a Seiko movement but you could only wear that watch ironically. It has a face that only a mother could love!

That's why I keep all my boxes and receipts!

Things have got quite bad there now for fakes for even the cheapest watches. Sellers are even getting 'fake' names put on unmarked movements such as Roamer, Fortis. (These are manual winds btw and sell for £12ish) I watched a long time so I can spot the differences, the same with the Seikos - that incidentally flooded in with fake Richos and Citizens.
