This seems to be the lowest price on Amazon for some time.

A good cleaner at a good price from a reputable supplier.

Edit - Also this price at Tesco Direct - see post Nº3 for link. Use code TDX-PKMW for £10 discount if "new" customer.

Kudos to "shimagoza" (post #5) for code!

Oh yeah - it's the same price at Tesco Direct :

tesco.com/dir…095

I guess that one is price matching the other.

Have to weigh up the benefit of Clubcard points against the convenience of free delivery ..........

Are these bagless?

*Never mind, I see that it uses bags.

If you are a new customer to Tesco Direct, you can get an additional £10 off your first order over £50.

CODE: TDX-PKMW

So £77.00 delivered from Tesco - that's a scorching price!
*Might be worth adding to the title OP.

As for Henry Vacs, they are awesome, and the bags can be found very very easily.

Ordered from Tesco with £10 off as fashion code with Amazon won't work with this.

Cant believe this - only ordered this same Henry from Amazon at 11pm last night for £96!!! I cant even cancel the order now :-(

Good find

I have this at home, really good cleaner. recommended, great deal

My GF made me buy her one of these and I must say , they are GOOD. Although, he does have a bit of a coke problem.

Surely you can cancel/return under DSR?

They shouldn't put smiley faces on appliances that suck ( unless theyre called Hettie )

mine still going strong after 13 years

If you've ordered from amazon at a higher price contact them via live chat and they should reduced for you

henry hoovers rock! powerful wee sucker!

What is the difference between a Henry and a Hettie (both priced the same on Tesco), as their descriptions don't seem to state much difference? is one better than the other??

Was wondering that myself. Only thing I can see is the 'Low noise' description.

Colour aside (and the numatic / low noise wording) the descriptions seem very similar. No working difference then, it seems!

Actually, Hetty seems to have a lot more features...

Hetty has a 'Hepa Filter', Henry doesn't.
Hetty has 5 'Levels Of Filtration', Henry has 3.
Hetty has 'Streak Free Finish', Henry doesn't.
Hetty has a 10m cable, Henry has 8m.

Thanks guys for the advice - have spoken with Amazon and they have adjusted the price.

Great, thanks. Was looking to buy one this weekend. Hetty out of stock so got a Henry. Any recommendations on where to get the bags and how long can you use each one? Moving from our 3rd Dyson. They start great but break too easily.

You maybe right here, so apologises if my previous advice was wrong, but according to Numatic they are the same:
henryvacs.co.uk/aca…tml

It might just be a marketing blurb update, but they should both have 10m cables according to Numatic.

Hmmmm, I always thought it was a cosmetic thing, unless you went for Charles, George or James.
I'm happy to be proven wrong if anyone out there can confirm.

The bags are easily available at supermarkets, but online wise:
Amazon.co.uk - £5.50 for 10 bags delivered.
dustbag.co.uk - £6.99 for reuseable cloth bag delivered.

Hope that helps

Great price. We got a George from Henryvacs but it's a real pain to store. There are millions of parts, accessories and other bits that go with it since it's essentially two separate vacs with the same shell. Also, with George, there's no way to prop up the wand when you're not using it so it's always falling over. Wish we'd gone with the ordinary Henry, it's a steal at this price.

these are classics! we've always had one of these in the house as far back as I can remember.

Yeah, finding conflicting info here myself. Not sure what the craic is.

They seem to make some variations on Henry too, I got a Henry but the wheels have a bumper moulded around them whereas some don't.

Great Vaccum cleaner (I won't call it a Hoover as that's degrading) - these are excellent all rounders that take a lot of crap

the best

Just ordered a Henry from Tesco there for £77 using that code.

What has my life become? I'm excited about buying a vacuum cleaner.

Does it suck AND blow?

Just a note the quality on these vacs might have fallen. The original henry company was bought out by a chinese concern recently. I have one of the old ones and they're awesome.

To be fair I haven't read anything to suggest the quality may have been affected.

Sorry not a Hetty - she sucks good

I know these need disposable bags but can you still empty the bag a couple of times to get extra life out of them.....

Out of stock at Tesco now

Got one at about a tenner more a while ago - best vac I've had. It just does the job well (compared to some bagged and bag-less ones I've bought before). Should last ages judging by other reviews.

Only negative (and it's a small one) is that the long attachment to the head isn't adjustable, meaning it takes up a bit more room than my old vac. It's probably compatible with any other vacuum adjustable height 'pole' but I haven't had the chance to try it yet.
