If Apple made routers they'd look like this; "a victory of form over function". Probably works OK in open air, but sent mine back after it performed slower & less reliably than my older 54g Linksys.

My reference was really relating to the somewhat different appearance of the device and a parallel with certain lager adverts rather than being a 100% statement of fact.
Not wishing to be picky but that's an AP isn't it? not a router.

Definitely a router, although it can be used as an access point.
