Used lots of times myself, a few issues of not turning up when they should to collect, but parcels have always been delivered

Best to check as some of the heavier ones are more expensive direct, weird

Just wondering why this is a deal these are just Hermes normal prices.

Use these all the time, but their customer services are a nightmare

Dont forget the new customer 25% off too

Massive plus 1, extremely slow. Having received 3 parcels on separate occasions with destroyed packaging I wouldnt recommend them.

could be free and still would not use, when they loose as many things as they do I personally wont be going back to them!

how can sending a customer to a shop be better than having it delivered to your home.

They also deliver to directly to home - If it will fit in a Jiffy bag and weighs under 2kg it's £3.99 and up to 5kg costs £4.99 they also dont charge extra for a signature.Which is a rather better deal then Hermes as I'm sure you'll agree Garbage456.

dreadful, dreadful delivery company.
truly
really can't stress enough just how bad they are

I think it depends on your luck how good a service you! I have used them a few time and never had a problem. But then my sister used them to send something to me and its been a total nightmare! There customer service is shocking!

Never had any problems with them personally and used them a number of times. Nobody can be worse then the Royal Mail though, so any alternative to them is good for me.

Because people work and they can collect at a time that suits them, not difficult to work that one out!

I stopped using Parcel2go when they dropped the free insurance cover down to £20 per parcel.

Awful company, set up as a network of local independent delivery men. No helpline to call, no number to call when you've missed a delivery, parcels left in stupid places, no depo. It all relies on how bothered the delivery man is. I'd avoid at all costs and stick to Royal Mail, UPS etc if you don't want to p*ss off your customers.

Should be renamed to "Parcel2Go_Awol"

This could be a new Hitcock plot.....
Place your victim in a brown cardboard box, tape up securely and apply a CLEAR delivery address (you can even put your sending address on), request the carrier company to collect and deliver your parcel.....
Hey Presto'! the parcel goes missing without any trace......
The Perfect Murder.....or "Dial H for Hermes"

Actually I would agree collect+ is actually pretty good. I drop my parcels of at my own convenience to my local Martins/ Mcolls. They get scanned in by the cashier, who then prints me a receipt including full tracking. Once scanned the courier (Yodel) is notified. These parcels are then collected same day or latest next day by Yodel who deliver them to the door of the address provided in a day or two. From experience they seem to get there much quicker this way than using MyHermes. The tracking on MyHermes is also no good. They say the parcels have tracking, but try typing the tracking info in and it always says unavailable for me.

We send out around 5000 parcels a year and we have tried all the different carriers and things do get lost or broken with all of them, but in my 20 years experience UPS is by far the best we've used.

Hermes sounds like an embarassing genital infection

My Hermes are possibly the worst courier company I've ever encountered! They decided they couldn't find my work even with the address on the parcel so they sent it back to the shop I bought it from! Idiots

I think all the customer service staff have it, as whenever I query anything, the only response I get is "suck my c***!".

Why would they want to suck your cake?

Used myhermes loads and have never ever had a problem with them.

Because my cakes brings all the girls to the yard! That's right; it's better than yours...

This post is really amusing. I have been following the reports on various delivery companies since before Christmas and every thread, here and elsewhere, that I've read takes the following format...

XXXXXX is the worst delivery comany in the world, parcels get damaged/lost/delayed and their customer service is carp (sic).

For the XXXXXX you can subsitute just about any delivery company you choose. DHL, My Hermes, Yodel, HDNL, Royal Mail etc etc.

What I think this proves is that no company is perfect, it always depends on the luck that you have.

For example, for the last 2 months, I would have super-glued Yodel in place of my XXXXXX. However, my last Yodel delivery, which arrived yesterday, was perfect in every way. Not only that but it was delivered a day ahead of schedule.

dire.

after several problems, ive stopped using Hermes & parcel2go. Missing parcels, driver not showing up etc

used interparcel.com at the very last minute for a christmas delivery, got picked up and delivered with no problems.

Avoid Hermes & parcel2go at all costs

actually, i find parcel2go fine, so long as you use City Link (< contentious issue i know, but City link up here are prob the most reliable delivery company)

^ or substitute CL for whichever P2Go courier is actually trustworthy in your area
P2Go always have someone sitting on FB waiting to help you out if there's a problem too btw

parcelmonkey are miles better or parcel2ship

I'm waiting for two parcels that this shower of s*** have of mine.

Tracking tells me they have been out for delivery since 05:09 07/01/12.

The company that I bought the items from phoned me today and said the delay is because the driver that was supposed to deliver to me had left the company.

I assume by that they only have one driver covering the UK.(_;)

The only other time Herpes visited me it was about 4 days overdue.oO
