Not really a deal but just a reminder for people. Hermes offers parcel posting from £2.79. Sending a parcel under 1KG with 20% student discount, collection from home and cover up to £20 costs just £2.64. Way cheaper than the £3.95 royal mail 2nd class signed for.

After my experience I’ve just had with them.....I don’t think so!! Customer service is useless and took 7 days to respond when investigated. The live chat is just read off the same script time and time again and had to endure it 5 times over 1 week. I was told they had delivered the parcel but couldn’t tell me if it was signed for or handed in person. I was in all day on the date and time they stated and checked CCTV cameras and nobody walked up my drive. They told me it was nothing else to do with them and to go to sports direct who were the originators of the parcel. They then took 2 weeks to respond and eventually got my money back from SD. My neighbour also had 2 parcels go missing along with many complaints on Facebook chit chat.I do realise that thousands of parcels go through the company but just look at the reviews and stop using the untrustworthy temporary couriers they use over Christmas

Parcelforce 40% code still available through unidays, slight more expensive but higher chance of getting there.

What! you must be using a different PF than the rest of us, they are absolutely
In case some forget or didn't know yet - Hermes Print in Store is still
0-1kg £2.95
1-2kg £2.95
2-5kg £2.95 (bargain)

And you don't have to wait for a courier to collect your parcel (which can be any time of day and night 🙈).

Used them for my last 25 eBay sales and had no issues, including sending a laptop to France

Can only agree... Shocking company... Lost 3 returns over Christmas and another parcel when paid for tracking they couldn't even track it out of the shop it was taken to customer service is dreadful.

You must work for them, they are so bad that when I choose a retailer I enquire if they are going to use PF or RY and if they are I shop elsewhere. May I say you are the master of understatement "slight more expensive"
Great service never a problem.
I avoid parcel farce.
Sent maybe 50 via Hermes with no problems

sounds more like the delivery driver than Hermes although its up to Hermes to monitor their self employed drivers and they are getting more strict lately as in the driver cant sign for the parcel if it says must be signed for. They pay peanuts but when they are only charging approx £2.79 a parcel what do you expect. IIRC they pay 45p a parcel that is delivered and approx 25p to pick one up and out of that they have to pay for their own vehicle repairs and fuel etc. If the parcel isnt shown as delivered they dont get paid hence why you may not find it where you think it should be and find it where it shouldnt be like in the recycle bin or behind your back gate when its pouring down.
I have had more issues with Royal Mail than Hermes and I have sent thousands of parcels over the years using both and only two delivery issues with Hermes and one wasnt their fault.
I use Hermes as it will always show delivered where as RM even though I have paid for recorded sometimes doesnt show as. If Hermes relaxed their non compo and prohibited items I will move everything over to them but in the mean time I have to take a chance with RM scanning the parcel properly.

Each to their own
If you pack well shouldn't have a problem. Use in store print label.
Hermes are the worst. Countless deliveries that never arrive and the tracking just goes cold. Customer service are robots reading from script. Not worth the hassle! It still amazes me how many companies to choose to use them for deliveries, as it reflects bad on them imo.
Can someone message me a unidays code if ok. Thanks Ross
Any unidays code that someone can send me?
"Out of codes

We've temporarily run out of codes for Hermes.

We've raised this issue with them and will be receiving more codes soon.

Please check back shortly."

I wonder if this will be fixed soon....
