My copy was new and sealed. Seems most of the Blu-rays I pick up in Poundland are new and sealed (Not re-sealed).
The last season I watched was the Circus people one.. with Samuel as the lead character.
How many seasons were made after that/in total?
Not for me, think I had about 2 episodes left but it was so bad I didn't even bother watching them. It was also cancelled pretty quickly
That was the final season, there were 4 in total not including the more recent "Reborn" (season 2 was half the length of the others though due to the writer's strike)
I'm gonna say something extremely controversial here, I actually enjoyed the whole series of Heroes personally. I do think season 4 was the worst, but I still enjoyed it. I still haven't watched the "Reborn" series, I've got it recorded but haven't got around to watching them.
Gotta disagree, I felt they got progressively worse. I made it to the third or fourth last episode of season 4 and just couldn't justify wasting the two or three hours needed to finish it. Shame, as Season 1 was probably the best new series I had seen in years, then the writers strike just destroyed season 2 and try as they might in later seasons they just couldn't correct it.
All mine have been new so far too, but they've started stocking Replay Blu-rays in some stores. If there's a flyer inside it's a Replay copy.
Ah ok, I guess that the ratings plummeted and probably had something to do with the show not getting recommissioned.
Shame as I felt it was brilliant in season one
They do Blu-Rays at the Arndale but they go quick, Droylsden, Openshaw and Denton also do them, but again the best ones go quick!
I only watched it for the cheerleader
Theres no chance for them to make a new season is there. Hoped they did something like prison break.
She's all grown up now, playing Juliette in "Nashville" on Sky (available on demand)
Agree, but I think its also down to creator Tim Kring over-reaching with his idea. Seems to be a running theme in American TV - have a fantastic idea which makes for a great first season or two, but they have no new ideas as time goes on. They try and shake things up but after a while it feels like desperation and the storylines just get ridiculous. The X Files, Lost and Prison Break come to mind with the same problem. Breaking Bad felt different, like they had mapped the idea from the start, and knew when to end.
Its easy to forget just how good this season 1 really was after the mediocrity that followed
It's more that it's a pound really
I didn't get past about episode 6 which was getting pretty good. There are some great characters especially for a wider audience compared to the original. I loved the Japanese inclusion for a start.
Sylar!
Peter Petrelli (before he went soft)
Great show, shame about the follow up seasons...
