Did you forget to switch it on? ;-)

Why would anyone buy one of these when you can get one of these with a 6 year guarantee, bagless, no loss of suction and cheaper ?

Good price, heat from me

Because they're not the same product? I'd rather get something I've used in the past. Six year warranty means nothing when they won't cover normal wear and tear. Henrys and Hettys are covered for two years as standard from the manufacturer.

How do you apply the discount code on resrve and collect please?

I assume most people just want a vacuum cleaner for its functionality, not for its smiley face or nice colour. The 6 year warranty comes directly from VAX compared with 2 years on this one so still looking for a vaild reason to choose the Hetty :whistling:

Just reserve it at the price of £84.99 and when you collect it, present the voucher in the link below and they should deduct the 15% at the till.

1. To qualify for a 15% discount, all purchases must be made in a single transaction and in person at any Homebase Store. The 15% discount will be deducted when the voucher is presented to the Homebase cashier at the time of making payment.

Whats the difference between Hetty and Henry, besides the colour?

There seems to be a £15 difference, on going for pink.

Which is better or are they the same?

Got a review? Warranty won't cover it if it's due to wear and tear which most vacuums break down from. The Hetty is tried, tested and trusted so I went for one rather than a brand which I've no real world experience of. It also uses bags which contain the dust/gunk/rubbish and the suction doesn't degrade over time.

They're the same aside from colour.

Vax litre dust capacity 1.5 litre
Hetty/Henry 9 litres

Power cord length Vax 6m
Hetty/Henry 10m

These two things would sway it for me, plus Numatic vacs are incredibly reliable and cheap to run (10 quality woven hepa filters £6 or less, mine is over 20 years old) and used by commercial cleaners and hotels throughout the country.

If you're still unconvinced then check out the reviews on Comet and nearly a £17 saving on their price:

comet.co.uk/sho…ews

They're also doing the Henry's for the same price (despite what it seems to say online)

I reserved a Hetty at the Chatham Store and went down voucher in hand to collect. They had a pile of Henrys and Hetty's under a big £84.99 price baord, so I grabbed a Henry instead and cancelled my reserved Hetty.

These really are bullet proof...hence used by so many cleaning companies. Great price.

Even better - tittle changed and rep added.

Just picked mine up and the Hetty model is HET200A:

Even more of a saving - against the Comet price!!

Just what I've been looking for - thanks.

My local Homebase didn't have any on display, so I got Hetty - daughter was appalled (she's not a 'pink' girl) but is reconciled. Even managed to vacuum a bit before she got bored! :w00t:
