£119 with the hub, £79 without.

Ahh. Original post & picture a little misleading, then
Quicklite05/01/2020 23:36

What if the intruder cuts the power to the AC?

Life is not like the movies.

Used to fit alarms. It never happened to ours, I never even heard credible sources of it happening, even to 'high risk' properties.

Other 'tricks', of course, but never cutting the power. Too high a risk of death I would think.

No-one is doing an Ocean's Eleven to steal your bluray player.

Decent deal but shame that when your given the option to not take the hub (I already have one) the price doesn’t change

The price of £79 is already without hub.

Will this work with any other hub such as SmartThings or Hue? Can’t be bothered adding yet another hub. Not interested in investing solely in one ecoSystem
Anyone who has ordered this, how does it check that you are a barclaycard member?
Will the sensors turn Tradfri bulb on/off?

Just ordered one with Lloyds debit card, orders gone through.
Is that 47% off £79?
Says nothing about Barclay card on the website

Great if you have British gas
I’ve just ordered. Thanks OP, the online install videos make it look straight forward.
The British gas code doesn't work on this. Doesn't work on any bundle on hive website. Side from multi pack bulbs
Good deal and I have a hub. BUT......

I don't want an Alexa and I don't want one single bulb!
Sounds like I'd just want/need the door things and motion sensor.?
How do u get 47%off as doesn't automatically come up
Just to let everyone know that all hive devices will pair directly with a Samsung smartthings hub. The only hive device that won't connect directly is the hive thermostat.

It certainly does work on other items and bundles.

I can't see Hive in the list of supported devices. Do they just appear as a generic device?
@chrisfrost great deal however would change the title that £79 is without hub.

Yes then you install the hive smart app and device handlers. Here is the tutorial

Still don’t understand but ok

Anyway, back to the deal. Thanks for posting, didn’t buy this pack but deal reminded me about the 50% off in BG rewards so bought 3 sensors and a bulb for £53. Didn’t want/need an Alexa.

Cheers for that. I have that smart app installed already for my Hive thermostat. I didn't realise it covered the other devices too

Around 2yrs or more the hive engineer said to me the thermostat batteries will last 2yrs. I’ve had my door sensors 2yrs and still on the original batteries they come with
If there is a code what is it

Are they standard AA/AAA batteries or proprietary?
I have a hive thermostat. What can I do with this stuff? It would be nice to have a light on a motion sensor but what can I do with the door and window ones? Any ideas
Anyone know what happens if your WiFi happens to be down? Does that just render the sensors useless (temporarily)?

Ure right. I meant to put etc at the end.

Multi packs yes

By bundles I meant bundled products such as this post
I am a barclaycard customer but received no information about this offer. Is there an app or website with all the offers on? Interested in hive smart plugs and bulbs is there a discount code for 47% off these? Or is it specific to this bundle?

Thanks
The sensors are terrible I had a hive movement detection sensor and it kept locking up every few days and I kept having to open the front and remove the battery, the battery also did not last longer than a month useless really I gave up on the hive system, the only good thing is the bulbs. The leak sensor is also trash. It would work for a while and kept going offline and finally completely died probably battery went and I couldn’t be bothered with it

Also keen to know this, and assume so? Anyone know if the motion and door sensors are worth investing in as a home security solution? Personally I already have the hub and thermostat
It shows on my account. Im barclayscard customer.. you need to be logged in.. to see it i think. I will check later on again
