You know you been camping when your tent is in the next field to you hiding in a sleeping bag cussing your parents for doing this to you. Memories.

My wife and her brother , when they were 10 or so, we're camping atop a welsh cliff. The wind started blowing a gale and their mum told them to sit inside the tent so it didn't blow away. The wind became pretty frightening and they both jumped out of the tent and with nothing in it, it blew off the cliff.

Hear that story every year , my mother in law is adamant the tent would have been fine, my wife always starts the story with 'Mum, remember that time you tried to kill me in a tent....'

Can totally relate to this, our tent blow away in the middle of the night when we were kids.

Not been a big fan of camping after that.

@Fonzy78
Great first post thanks for sharing
What are the dimensions for when it is put up?
That is amazing!!! I have no idea if it’s a good deal, what a product though

Probably classed as child abuse removing decent food and toilet facilities, however if you want to experience camping and dampness you could just rent out one of millions of Council properties these days.
If you have ever slept in a bunk bed, you will know how sensative they are to any movement...even those made from solid wood/metal frames. Looking at this, I doubt you will sleep for more than an hour, without being disturbed by movement from the other bunk. At £76.50, I'd rather save my money, and have a better nights sleep, even if sleeping on a ground mat.

Looks useless. Why did you bother?

After spending the past 2 weekends camping with airbeds, I almost put my kids up for adoption after listening to them shuffle about on airbeds all night, the noise was unreal and next time I'm booking a pod away from them
Interesting, OP. My young grandsons saw similar at a camping shop and loved them. They suggested I buy them to use at our house when they visit. Seriously tempted. Thank you. Great first post.

What a helpful and well thought out comment. Thank you for your contribution!

On another note; nice find OP had no idea this even existed.
We have a set of these - first outing was last weekend.

You don't have to bunk them - they operate as 2 singles if you want.

Kids (11 & 8 ) slept like logs on them. They'll happily take a fully grown adult as well. Velcro/Clip tensioners underneath work well. Safety bars and metal struts under canvas on 'top bunk' in case the velcro/clip gets a bit tired and loosens.

All in all a decent enough purchase if space for kids beds is at a premium. We were on a slightly slanty pitch so opted for 2 single configuration. I would be tempted to only use the bunk option on a decent flat pitch especially if you have a couple of wrigglers.
This doesn't look safe
We bought these earlier this year, great product, much sturdier than you would think. Kids loved them, they were fed up of rolling into each other with the air beds.

Size wise they only just fit in our tent (Eurohike Rydal 6).
I was in go outdoors earlier, whilst I didn't buy these (I bought 2 single beds for my 2 youngest) I mentioned the 15% online discount and they applied it to my instore purchases, so thank you op

I actually have these and use them for my boys in awning on side of motor home. Both my boys are very light but they're 12 and 14 and they sleep fine on them. Bargain at this price and easy to put up and take down but very heavy once all packed back away.
I like this a lot... might buy one for fun
