I know this is a fairly regular one, but it's still a good deal! £5.99 for a bunch of sports gels/drinks plus a bottle. Can't really go wrong.

I'm doing 45-50 miles running a week at the moment but have only ever tried SIS espresso gels twice which were nice/good but are expensive.

Are these significantly more rubbish than SIS? I quite like the option of a gel about an hour into a run, particularly with caffeine.
This stuff is like wet jello it's nasty

I've tried SiS and High5 and generally go for High5 unless SiS is on offer. I get fewer GI issues with High5, but that's a personal thing.
It's 5.99 everywhere
I have so many gels already. Still ordered haha!
At the very least I'll have an extra bottle.
No real idea what I'm looking at! Is this something that would appeal to someone training for a marathon?!
If you can stomach then it's an absolute bargain, but personally I think they're the grimmest thing that has ever passed my lips.

I'll vote hot as it's great for distance runners who swear by them, but they seem to have been invented by someone who doesn't have tastebuds.

If only multipacks of Gu and Clif Shots were this cheap. You'd do well to get four of them for £6.

It's essentially individually wrapped liquidised jelly babies for 1000x the price of jelly babies. Don't waste your money.

Really not a fan of the caffeine ones ... get 15-20 mins of a coffee high, but the comedown is really bad ... just using normal gels and no problems ... it's all about teh carbs
For those without Amazon Prime ... same price at Wiggle wiggle.co.uk/hig…ck/

Having only just today nearly choked to death on a Haribo (thanks Wiggle!) while running, I think I can see certain advantages in gels!

Except it's not. Some people can manage Jelly Babies on the run, I can't. The gels don't taste great but the. I've yet to find one that does. For anyone looking for cheap gels , energy drinks and a recovery shake this is good value. If High 5 stuff isn't for you then clearly it isn't.
Was waiting for these to finally be back in stock and then completely forgot about them, first half marathon at the end of the month, will give these a try, cheers and heat OP!

Can also go to Evanscycles and they price match Wiggle. CRC usually 6.99 and price match them

Have you tried chewing jelly babies 35km into a marathon? My jaw tends to lock up during a long run.

The trick with gels is to try a few brands during training and see what works for you. I tried a gel and lucazade during one training run. Never again
its £5.99 in halfords too, great pack

If your using those hard jelly babies then your doing it wrong. Get the soft ones that don't really need chewing.
Great price , thanks op, ordered a couple of pack
Never sure why those who dislike these products come on commenting sayin they don't work/ taste horrible, waste of money etc etc

the end of the day we we are all different for me a couple of energy gels a piece of flapjack and a banana is all I need for a 30 mile off-road bike event.

the high5 are far sweater than other brands, sis to me are horrible compared, cold sick consistency .
clif bars are really tasty but expensive
ote good but expensive .

just remember try the products before your big event, I tend to like the high5 products especially the tabs to flavour the water, Isojel and the recovery products,
but the energy sachets are likea laxative

That's why I started on gels! My 2nd half marathon and choked on a jelly baby - High5 gels only now!
There was a recent offer for a box of 24 high five gels for not much more than this(£8.99?). Cartainly better value than tesco or H&B where i first bought a single SiS gel for 2.50, or 3 for a fiver on 'offer'.
Great deal!
