Same, mine has started to tear quite bad.
This chair is marketed under so many different names, it’s the same as Fast Traxx at B&M, I picked it up for £30 on sale, that said it’s not on sale at mo
Can you race round your room fast on one of these?
It says "was £65.99", not £141. The RRP is complete nonsense.
Over priced. Seen this chair for cheaper under different names. Cold from me.
If it really was leather i'd be buying now. Unfortunately, it's faux - a posh name for fake.
Seen this same chair on eBay for 50ish quid

To y'all expecting leather on a £60 chair ya must be aving a laugh
Looks like a normal chair, but with holes in it and a yellowish patch.
sat on this exact chair typing...

Paid £45 about a month ago.

I'd actually recommend it highly... it'd not very adjustable but very comfy.

It's not a bargain but well worth £45 quid... However it's not worth 60 odd quid. Wait for cheaper.
My son had one of these and the base broke within a few weeks. Me and my other son got some from Staples a few years back and they are still looking great. I posted a deal on them both a week ago.
The state of that, why are all "gaming" chairs so ugly, - do they amuse all gamer have no taste whatsoever.
£46.99 here including delivery.
I typically bought the purple one for my daughter a week ago from this seller at £49.99, but it's now dropped in price for the green

Bought a red one from amazon on sale for £27 earlier this year. Its so pants it leans to one size and creeks all the time.
Another family member bought same one off ebay for £40 and guess what same sh**t.

Do not waste your money on this.

Not fake, just a different material. I'd rather buy faux than real.
These are crap. Get yourself a refurbished steelcase leap or herman miller. I have the leap and it's built like a tank. As heavy as one, too..
I have this chair, it's OK but I wouldn't recommend it over other chairs due to the bulge in-between the legs being uncomfortable and the arm rests give me pins and needles sometimes.

Build quality wise it's fine though so if you find it comfortable then go for it.

P.S. mine was £48 reduced in B&M

How do these sorts of chairs compare with the higher end gaming chairs? Been interested in getting a SecretLab or something like that but I don't know if they're worth the extra money.

No doubt there's a decent improvement but it's a massive difference in price.

I've just checked the description and indeed it says, "Faux leather".

Faux:
adjective

made in imitation; artificial.
"a rope of faux pearls"

not genuine; fake or false.
"their faux concern for the well-being of the voters didn't fool many"

Yeah, get a refurbed steelcase. As someone who works all day long at home, its made such a huge difference. These mass produced gaming chairs are ten a penny, and aren't worth any where near the money being asked for them. Unless you plan on sitting on this for no more than half an hour, its going to get less comfortable as time goes on.

You don't, but I'd argue you could still find a better chair for this price. Ikea used to have a really good computer chair that was affordable... unfortunately I can't remember the name.
There are plenty of Steelcase Please chairs (V1 and V2) on ebay for between 90 and 130. I think Please chairs would be better for gamers anyway with the higher headrest and support for reclining positions (but I don't have a Leap so could be wrong).
