BRAND NEW - These are the UK's best value AA 2900 mAh Ni-Mh rechargeable batteries ! This 2900 mAh AA is our very latest and highest capacity Ni-Mh rechargeable battery that we sell. These batteries will offer you the ultimate in both performance and battery life. Ni-Mh (nickel metal hydride) type batteries are favoured by demanding users as they are memory free and offer superb performance over traditional Ni-Cad rechargeable and even single-use Alkaline types. Perfect for all high and low drain devices and especially ideal for digital cameras too. These 7dayshop.com batteries are compatible with many good quality chargers and equipment types.
AA size batteries are also referred to as LR6 and MN1500 sizes

These AA batteries are supplied with a FREE plastic (semi-transparent) storage case, which will help to look after your batteries and also prevent possibly dangerous short-circuits in your pocket or case etc. These cases are modular and can be linked together to provide a larger/longer case. We also sell these cases separately (and in differing colours) to help with battery rotation etc

I've had the 2700mA and these are very good. However, I now use the "GOOD TO GO" 2100mA batteries also from 7-day shop (4x 2100 £3,99). They last much longer in my camera, even tho they are lower mA, because they don't discharge themselves like NiHM.

If you have high power demands over a short time (max 1 week) the 2900mA will serve you better, tho.

Dead right, most users, will do better with the Good 2 go ones, as once used, they can be charged, then forgotten about, just as if they were disposables.

It happened very nearly immediately with me... so much so, I rarely use my standard rechargeables now at all!

Thanks Ian, is that regardless of Brand m8?

"Good to go" ones are the future.
No swearing when your "fully charged"
ones turn out not to be when you need
them most.

Thank you for that pet2000. Can you recommend a cheap but also decent charger to go with the 'Good to go' ones? Thank you in advance.
Blas.

If it's cheap you want, then this will be ideal:

The charger in the link has been posted on HUKDs numerous times, but this thread gives the most info and some alternative suggestions for chargers:

hotukdeals.com/ite…ry-

I went for this charger, it's brilliant and more features than you can shake a stick at - but at £14.99 (although from memory I'm sure it was up to £40 at other sites) it's 5 times the price:

Have just received 8 of these. MOST OF THEM ARE GETTING SO HOT DURING CHARGING THE LABELS ARE SHRINKING. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The good to go ones are only 2100mah though. Will they still perform well in a high zoom camera?

I use them in a Fuji s5800 bridge camera, as well as any number of other things.

If you are a heavy duty user, then higher capacity batteries might be the thing, (A spare set in the pocket is pretty essential anyway, whatever batteries you use!) but you will need to keep them charged to be ready to use, and it is easy to forget; but if like me you use the camera intermittently, the Good 32 Go ones are a Godsend.
