At other places, this type of blanket can be much more expensive, although they seem really quite popular at the moment. I've not seen a lower price on either of these sizes / weights so there may be a few people that will be interested in them.

From what I've read they are used to help with anxiety and stress amongst other things. I'm no expert on the subject by any means, although if you want a good price on them, then OnlineHomeShop have these 2 sizes and weights on offer.

Both sizes and weights are on the 'Get Deal' Link

4KG 125x150 £26.98 - Includes Delivery Costs

8KG 150x200 £39.99 - Is free delivery as it's over £30

Seem like very good prices
This type of blanket should be a set % of the users body weight, if using one for a young child with autism etc.. make sure your aware of this and dont leave them on for prolonged periods.
We had one custom made around £25 with a nice fleece material.
It's quite lightweight for a "weighted" gravity blanket. Only suitable for younger kids . If you're looking for one, do a bit of googling as they recommend different weights based on the body weight of the 'user'
For when you miss sleep-paralysis

I'm always cold, so I just have a lot of blankets. I can't see the advantage of this. Maybe in a hotter climate where you want a heavy blanket but don't want it to be hot.
But the price is good, voted hot (for the price)

I paid a whopping £120 for my gravity blanket in the new year. I have trouble sleeping and even when I wake its like having a hug and the feeling of being grounded and I head back to sleep. The company I bought it from advised to get one thats 10% of your body weight. I was in between weights so went for the heavier one. Wouldn't be without it
I prefer anti-gravity blankets.

Same, I suffer from restless legs and got tired of taking the medication. It took a few nights but now I no longer have the issue when using my blanket. It hasn't helped my insomnia but the sleep I do get is a lot deeper and relaxed.

The post should have stated these are mainly used for special needs children/adults, my daughter has autism and has very severe melt downs where she self harms and loses all control of herself, put this over her and it will help calm her down, well sometimes, used to be all the time but as she gets older it gets worse/harder for us to help/control
Do you put this on top of a duvet or instead of?

Thanks buddy we just have to get by somehow and just never give up, its heart breaking when you see some kids put into foster care because of it, and i see a few kids at my daughter's special school picked up by different people every day because their parents have them in respite care more than they are at home and are off abroad and stuff on their facebook, unbelievable

Get a Fogarty wool duvet (if they still make them).

They do: Fogarty Wool Duvet

Had ours 5+ years and never have to add extra layers in Winter and we both sleep nekkid!

Also, its cool enough for all but the hottest of summer nights.

They just seem to regulate your body heat to suit!

Thanks for your advice, yes it might be worth a try, but I'm Mr Freeze, nothing seems to keep me warm.

Whilst this is a blanket, it's more about it being weighted than keeping you warm.

A lot of parents with autistic children use them, as it can help keep them asleep.

My autistic nephew is often up jumping on the bed at 3am, and this sort of blanket has been a godsend for my sis
Will this help with my Super Saiyan traning?
Bit late but thanks 🤘
