To be fair even with trade discounts at other local motor factors. Ecp normally come out cheapest for the public with these codes. I dont know why its voted cold. The general joe qould be pretty shafted otherwise.

Make sure you check Car parts for less though they still normally work out cheaper.

one problem with both of EP and CP4L is their customer service is shocking, told me they didn’t follow the consumer act on a faulty part or the distant selling act, you can imagine how that went. Emailed their CEO and unlike other companies they don’t have a special customer service department and got their PA, don’t think she had ever had an email from a customer all sorted in the end but probably won’t use them again.

Register your email address, they have sales on a night from 7pm til 9pm. You often get 50% of brakes and such like.

Strange, I got the cheapo RainX deal x2 bottles the other day, it arrived with 1 of them spilling out into the sealed plastic bag - they just sent me 2 more no problem - and I was able to use the spillage anyway!

They said their courier can't pick up spilled stuff for return so keep it.

Faulty parts may be different they wanted me to send it back for testing, which could take 21 days!
There are many car part retailers to compete with ecp, carparts4less as mentioned plus gsf. Then autosessive whom are cesuk and items can be collected from store sometimes beating ecp on better quality parts. Codes are available on all.

Ecp have the same model as sports direct buying and labelling quality manufacturers and replacing with inferior components, where they used to be cheap they're not anymore.

How often does this happen?
Probably about once a week, varies on batteries, brakes, oil and other stuff. Gsf is sometimes cheaper when they do their 55/60% code.
Also check their eBay listings. Often cheaper as they have to compete on price with other eBay outlets.

Some items are good value if you use then and rubbish value if you don't. Eg. The cheap back boxes fall to bits in 3 years. If you do 60k in 3 years they are good value. If you only do 9k in 3 years then not so much.

As for their sales. I looked on their site when they had a 2 hour flash sale on brakes at 50% off, and their cheap Eicher ones were less than £2 cheaper than me buying EBC Ultimax pads.

I use them less now when the started restricting what the public can buy. I have to buy my Triple QX 20l oil off a third party now as ECP won't sell it me directly.

Seems to me both CP4L and Europarts are operated by same company.

Yes, in all but name, Eurocarparts and Carparts4less are the same company. Same stock, same SKU, same company. Same dishonest fluctuating pricing and bogus regular discounts. But can be useful for some folks, including me. So I'm not complaining just so long as everybody knows what they are dealing with.
carpart have a flash15 on as well so was cheaper again
