you're being a bit harsh - £25 @ Sainsburys is a lot better than £25 @ Amazon

Correct me if I'm wrong to get it for £25 on amazon you have to be a prime member which is £70 a year?

Tried this last night. Very nice middle strength (in terms of peat) whisky!

My favourite single malt whisky. Thanks

You might want to put Malt Whisky in the title for those with an alert.

Orders of £20 and over qualify for free delivery (no need for prime). Orders of £10 and over qualify for free delivery on books.

But do you not need prime to get it for the £25 prime price?

No. Go on Amazon and see for yourself. Still, £25 is a good deal for Sainsburys. Asda quite often sell it at this price too.

BTW had an interesting point raised at a whisky tasting last night. I bought an auchentoshan American Oak and a Laphroaig both on offer at supermarkets recently. Not a big fan of either...or so I thought! Laphroaig is an acquired taste regardless of age but just be careful with some super market deals. In short if it doesn't have an age statement on it then don't buy it! Also if it does buy as many as you can! I am a big fan of old pulteney which is 12 year old as standard (if you like that you'll like highland park in all likelihood) but this guy was saying that due to demand it distilleries are increasingly putting out none age branded whisky that tells a story (and from my experience are harsh as hell vs age branded 8 year olds and up!) and soon might not be many good age related whisky at a decent price! This makes this whisky and the old pulteney exception value when you see them on offer at £25 but don't get fooled by anything without an age at this price!

how the hell is this deal cold btw?
