At least you can recycle the plastic, that's more than can be said with all the packaging on vegetables and meat products
Cold. Totally against single use plastic.

Countless millions of non-essential plastic bottles/other products are littered in the UK & sent to other countries to destroy their environment.
People please don't moan about plastic, use recycling bins and don't worry buying anything in plastic. Europe is getting to much attention to that, when countries like China or India don't care about that at all and they having a huge impact on earth.

Please don't preach about plastic littering, if we all do our bit at recycling (Wales being the biggest in the UK at it) we can concentrate more on reducing eating meat, so that forrests are not depleted from over farming particularly in the Amazon.

Littering is not recycling.I have for many years whilst dog walking collected litter with my own ring & litter picker then placing them on top of litter bin.
Most of what I pick up is plastic bottles, food wrappers,beer/energy/pop cans in that order.
What is being found in our public water supply/ponds/rivers/canals/oceans is far more dangerous to the planets future than BEEF.

Manufacturers must be FORCED to use only recyclable products.
By the time that happens we will be knee deep in litter.

So you're saying that over farming of cattle (not just beef) that is clearing rain forests, and polluting our oceans and watercourses with animal waste, together with destroying the habitats of endangered species not forgetting the shameless amount of co2 is less important than waste plastic.....oh c'mon

No that is not what I am saying.
They are both contributing to destroy our environment at an increasing rate.
Litter is an easier problem to solve as there are are millions of people who knowingly and deliberately throw stuff away in the places where they go out of laziness which is easily preventable.
This litter also has to be picked up,sorted, then recycled (some of it).
We can all do more to help but many are not even trying.
