Hmmm...first post; no request to be 'gentle with me'

I'm impressed!
Crane products I have had in the past have been OK. These boots are waterproof for 3 hours, thats a strange statement. Walking boots and trainers I have are either waterproof or not. Goretex or Isotex are the one's I have that are actually waterproof. The materials used in these boots are: PU, Textile, Phylon, TPR. TPR is the sole and Phylon is used for the midsoles usually. So might not be for the avid hiker / rambler. Good price though.

My husband has these and they are really good, as good as his previous, much more expensive pairs. His are waterproof, and he has walked all day in wet conditions with with no issues.

Up to three hours is fine for dog walking or when it snows, I suppose? Seem good value for £19.99, but don't expect them to be as good as a £120 pair.

I usually have to offer more than 20 quid for those demands

Show me a goretex walking boot for anywhere close to 20 quid. Even just one boot, never mind a pair

These are like fat birds in sports leggings. Just cause you look the part don't mean you are the real deal.

Have some heat BTW!

Good deal ,shame they only go up to size 11
Excellent deal, available to pre-order now with free delivery 🏻
These are available in store from this Sunday (11th March), just so you know
and any complaints over the long-term waterproofing of these boots, Aldi will be selling this this also:
aldi.co.uk/wat…801

at £1.49 it's a snip. Thatr being said, don't actually know if it works
Great first post @david_kly I've also added some dispatch & delivery info to OP and title, voted hot
Not available in powerfully built director size (12) so its a cold from me
Are there real leather ?

Kind regards
I bought a pair of walking boots recently from a large online retailer who shall remain nameless and they have worn through on the soles in a fortnight. These will do nicely until I can afford something a little more durable. Heat from me!

It actually says "water resistant" rather than water proof on the Aldi site. I think my trainers are water resistant for about 30 seconds, so 180 minutes is a fair improvement

Chop your toes off. They’ll fit then

Or chop the top off the boots -good ventilation
Great price, great boots BUT why oh why have Aldi and Lidl both stopped doing size 12 :\

Cold in that case. Thanks
Got some of these the last time they came around. Fine for a second pair. Wouldn't want to do multiple-day walks in these but for a quick jaunt they are fine.

£19.99 for leather boots is unlikely & unrealistic
Inappropriate post. This is a site for deals. Items selling for less than their usual price.
First post, and david_kly is an anagram of aldi_vdky...coincidence? I think not...
I bought a pair of these last year, they were absolutely rubbish. Leaked just walking through damp grass and the sole came away after two months. If you want some budget walking boots that are decent get Karrimor.
you pay for what you get I suppose

Picked up Adidas Terrex GTX hybrid walking / treking shoes for £30 on Zalando after discount codes / cashback which are made with premium materials (Stealth rubber / Continental sole / goretex lining ) and weigh next to nolt

Personally if I was walking for 180 mins+ Id get somat decent.

My only experience of Crane was when I tried on a cycling top which fell to pieces when I pulled a what I though was a loose string. I pulled the string and the arm literally came apart

Yes, maybe but in the credit crunch you can find it if you look carefully...

Kindest regards
Not interested, but this is a great first post, keep it up!

It's not inappropriate. It is a deal. You clearly don't comprehend the concept of hotukdeals. Move along!

Ok, prove your point and post a deal for leather hiking boots for under £20.

"Items selling for less than their usual price." This opinion is shared by a few members of HUKD I've noticed, and I understand this is the usual way that a deal is created however this is not the definition of a "deal".

Dictionary.com has this definition - A bargain or arrangement for mutual advantage:thebestdealintown.

I prefer Lidl's variant; not only are they usually about £3 cheaper, they also have a solid foam sole under the heel, whereas the Aldi ones have a sole constructed from air-filled cells; once the sole bottom wears through, the Aldi ones are a lot less comfortable, and let in water.

Whoa you know what they say about big feet?

Large socks.
probably weigh a bit.

The deal is not for leather boots. It says nothing about leather boots. The OP is very clear on what the boots are and it is not leather. In short these are not leather boots. You’re out of line voting cold on that basis and, on another note, your use of English grammar is terrible.
Likely not as good as more specialist pairs, but at £20 you can buy yourself a nice pair of Goretex socks. Hot from me.

Go for a smaller size to save weight.
Great for the money.
