Sixth album from Finnish goth rockers follows 2005's 'Dark Light'. Working once again with producer extraordinaire Tim Palmer (Robert Plant, The Mission, Ozzy Osbourne), they have pulled out all the stops to unleash what they have called their heaviest album yet, describing it as a cross between Metallica and My Bloody Valentine. Doom-influenced guitars roar while pin-up frontman Ville Valo delivers, in his dulcet croon, dark tales inspired by his battle with alcoholism. Includes the single 'The Kiss Of Dawn'.

Venus Doom
Love In Cold Blood
Passion's Killing Floor
The Kiss Of Dawn
Sleepwalking Past Hope
Dead Lovers' Lane
Song Or Suicide
Bleed Well
Cyanide Sun

A good rock band, some great music and songs (even if some of the lyrics are a little too gothic/death obsessed for some)

you occasionally see them on Kerrang etc and certainly worth a punt if rock is your thing.

terrible band. really REALLY bad. hot price i guess if your not one of the 80,000 people giving them the finger at Wembley before the tallica.....

I saw this a few weeks ago when I posted the MCR CD/DVD but I didn't post it as I didn't think people would be that interested! Looks like I was wrong :whistling:. I also thought the anti-EMO brigade would clobber it, still time for that though :-D. I have the 'Best of' and I give it a spin now & again, they are pretty good and I think Dark Light is supposed to be a good CD so have some heat
