you were correct.....TJ hughes not been knew to me....
But never heard of HINARI...

I live in Asia and Hinari are the make we buy for fans. I believe they are another Chinese import. I would buy a fan but nothing expensive and certainly nothing which required great precision or safety, such as this item.

Anyway, despite the company and its products being 2nd rate (or 3rd rate actually) the sole plate being steel is a deal breaker. Anyone knows you sure as hell don't want steel for an iron sole plate. Avoid, but ok to buy a fan from if significantly cheaper than other models.

thanks Op - thats the mrs xmas present sorted!

For those of you with a Makro card Makro in Glasgow is selling a Hinari steam generator (not sure if its this model) for £29.99 (ie ~£34.50 inc VAT).

this iron rocks great deal-go out and buy amazing :thumbsup:

Forgive the stupid question but what makes this different from a regular steam iron?

what does try it lol mean?
why does everyone insist on adding lol after a post, it's not even relevant is it?:x

Lots of Love= LOL

He should have put C.R.A.P. after it, because it is.

Laugh Out Loud = LOLhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LOL

I know what it stands for, but why do people insist on using it for example;

"my name is Dave,lol"

wtf does that mean?:x

I think he meant, why put LOL when something isn't even funny. Unless of course one gets immense amusement from ironing. I unfortunately, am not one of them.

oldham tj hughes has about 10 of these out, i work there and i put them out, just thought id say in case its of use to anyone... there was an old man and woman, and they had no idea this was an iron, was pretty funny

That's a funky looking iron. Do they make a funky looking ironing board to go along with it?
