Start with the ones that I posted above, anything on Wild Pitch from 90-95 was generally amazing as well. Theres quite a few gangstar albums on there, all well worth grabbing.

Happy listening GQ Man

And a good tip to get some more stuff, read the shoutouts on the cd labels from the ones you bought, always gives a good indication of good artists, in the mid to late 80's when hip hop was scarce in the UK (before hip hop connection came out) it was my only way of finding out what to buy next.

Heat and rep for this deal dancrawley - especially for the Young M.C link !
Top tune :-D

Shame on you ! certain people on here would have wanted to post all these individually and youve just messed up their day !

That's what happens when you have too much time on your hands I guess...............:whistling:

..............although it would be quite fun to have the front page full of Hip-Hop deals for the day ;-)

there are a few classics in there

my picks:

Public enemy - it takes a nation of millions to hold us back £2.99
Dr Dre - the Chronic £3
nas - hip hop is dead £2.99
outkast - aquemini £5
run dmc - raising hell £5

Shame there isn't Illmatic and Reasonable Doubt cheap there too that would be nice.

..............funny you should mention that........................Illmatic is on offer at The Hut - £3.43 now - was under £3 when I posted it the other day

Illmatic for less than £3 now that's a bargain if, like me, you like quality hip hop.

I'd also recommend Lupe Fiasco's albums, Kanye West - College Dropout, A Tribe Called Quest, Clipse - Hell Hath No Fury, Jay-Z - Blueprint / Black Album and Mos Def's Black On Both Sides.

ATCQ have crafted some of the finest Hip-Hop ever - Midnight Marauders is probably my all time favourite album (or at least up there in the top 5) - £5 @ ]Play

Great post, have some heat. Will have a browse and see if there's anything I dont have

Great post. Thanks for the heads up. Ordered 9 classic albums for around £25. Can't beat that.

No Ultramagnetics, Schoolly D, Tuff Crew or Three Times Dope, voted cold!:x

Just joking. Although there is more rubbish than decent stuff on that list....

one of my all time fave uk hiphop albums

^^^ Not heard that lp for years, must dig it out. I know a couple of lads from out Wycombe/Aylesbury way who were pals with Caveman and Silver Bullet. In fact one of them used to sit next to Robbie (The Principal) at school. Apparently he was a bit of a whiz on the Atari ST and the Akai S950, which shows on that album. It's actually aged a lot better than a lot of UK stuff from that era.
