Any good?

its been about 3 years i had one of these in my hand for my youngest and she enjoyed it, got a good year out on until she dropped it, youtube n some fairy games on it, during the year i reset back to factory settings a couple of times but not many, stuff like this isnt good at clearing cache stuff n removing apps correctly so a reset keeps it in order.. in todays typical standards itll do great again for that higher tec youngster abit younger then her, as an entry level and for £28 for a first tablet u cant moan.. id say if u were going to get ur kids a lenovo 7inch from argos at £50.... this is the alt item of that.

How about as a electric photo frame?
8gb storage, so with android and preloaded apps that aren't removable and the fact you dont get 8gb of space, you'll likely have 2 -3gb of space at max for apps and games

1gb ram too

Guess it'll be fine for Yt and light browsing

Ye you're right, was more highlighting the aging specs, but for basic stuff it'll be fine

Guess at this price I'm expecting too much

ur right though, i just posted as it caught my eye for £28.... might suit someone, my lot are way past these kinda spec now lol.
Could you buy it with bulldog and sell that separately?
surely a second hand ipad 1st or 2nd gen is better for £20 more
You should really just get a 7inch kindle fire or pay a bit more for an older 10 inch tablet, these will be a much worse experience.

I dunno about that, with a lot of apps requiring a higher ios than what the 1st gen for definite supports, it would be literally only useful as a photo viewer or media player
The ipad destroyer! 😜
No matter what you put on here someone tries to knock it lol...

for what the post is intended to to be for: a very young child's first tablet, which doesn't break the bank on anyone's budget. = perfect.
could this be used to make a magic mirror installing the alexa app?

My kindle fire 8 is s##t. The slowest tablet IV owned. Had cheapo tablets perform better
Terrible tablet. Although the one i had was a Tesco refurb. Slow to say the least. Gave mine to the local charity shop.
I'm just about to start a new job... Its a field sales role and I've been told I need a tablet. I don't want to spend a lot as the job isn't even confirmed until after training. It literally just needs to be able to sign contracts (Adobe Sign) and run maybe a couple of other apps (chrome and camscanner). I know people are saying this is ideal for younger kids, but do we think the 1gb ram would be enough to open webpages (quickly enough not to p*ss off customers!) and a couple of apps? Cheers

as for quickness, depends what size document its opening in all honest,
Would this do as a dedicated ring doorbell viewer for my elderly parents?
