This TV has just dropped in price. CamelCamelCamel has its lowest ever price as £349 and has not as yet updated. Seems very low price for a 4K TV.

Worth mentioning that this is a Prime only deal
Really holding out for the 49inch to be less than £320 but this is so tempting
Bit of a price match from the ebay deal yesterday?
Personally I'd prefer the slightly smaller 40" Samsung that was on here from John Lewis recently at £289.

Been looking for a new lower priced TV for a while and have just decided to give this one a go (did have a quick scan of some online reviews). Not looking for it to be high quality just a replacement for my knackered flat screen...

Richer sounds £299 for an N5300 which is an inferior model. The N5700 has HDR and is currently £349 at richer sounds and an in store only deal.

5700 has HDR10 rating but it's pretend HDR as the panel is 8 bit and uses dithering to approximate the colours of a 10 bit panel.

"But beware, 10-bit colour can be faked on an 8-bit panel by using dithering, also known as Frame Rate Control or FRC. This uses slightly different shades of colour with successive frames to create the illusion of more colours. 8-bit+FRC TVs as still qualify as UHD Premium, as the TV is accepting a 10-bit signal, processing it and capable of displaying it accurately, but having a native 10-bit panel is naturally the preferred option. Some purely 8-bit TVs still tout HDR as a feature, at the lower end of the scale." Source: thesixthaxis.com/201…tv/

I think most people will know that HDR won't be on a 10 bit panel at this price. Even the Samsung mentioned earlier is an 8 bit 'HDR'
Would be interesting to know how much the budget would have to go up to include 10bit true HDR.
4K TVs sounds great to those of us who haven’t researched it but on checking it out you discover that not many programmes are available and you often have to pay extra to the likes of sky or Netflix
Seem like a good price, 4k TV with quad core processor powering the smart tv functions. Will be nice and smooth

6 year Warranty

Absolutely. For starters, some reports of premature capacitor failure in Hisense power supply boards online. Was reading a similar case on here as well recently. 20 quid for 6 years' peace of mind is a no brained.

Cancelled my last order and bought the 49 inch. I owe you one! Don't know if you're eligible for it anyway, but next time you could do with a code for student discount, drop me a message and I'll send you one. Cheers!

When reading through the info on this one, I spotted this LG telly which seemed similar, but I’m no expert on these, just noticed it was £30 cheaper again, anyone think that’s worth a punt instead?

I'm in the same boat. I have bought the LG because I can't see the deal lasting to the morning. Would be keen to see what people think.
This blows the LG 630 out the water.
