Hisense do well on HUKD because of their prices and whilst this tv’s picture is great, the sound and the VIDAA operating system is nothing short of awful. You’ll need a sound bar and a whole load of patience navigating the laggy menus
What alternative would you recommend at or around this price point ?

I've got the 40 inch Hisense in my living room and I've no complaints about it. The picture quality and sound are both excellent. I would definitely recommend.

Have this in the 50inch model, bought from Amazon. Fantastic picture quality I think I paid just under £500 at the time. I also have downstairs a 55inch Samsung Q80T specifically bought to pair with my PS5 as it as a 2.1hdmi.

Both tvs Qled… But as picture quality goes for movies and colour id side with the Hisense which sounds mad to say
Similar experience here some people do not realise the difference between Led and Qled they think it's the same but it's not that Qled is superior

I've got the 55" one of these. To be honest the sound quality is poor and the picture is average
Seriously? I got the 43 inch from Costco last year and find the panel excellent, specially gaming which looks stellar. Granted prices have gone up lately, I paid only £239 with their 5y warranty.

As for this retailer, I personally would not touch them with a barge pole given their storied history. (edited)

I personally would recommend Hisense both look very similar but Hisense with 5 year warranty peace of mind

Does it have inbuilt amazon alexa and google assistant ?
It has both assistants and on top of that I use mine as a PC monitor and at 1080p resolution runs at 120Hz which is like a a gaming monitor
